The New York Auto School were friendly and approachable from the beginning. They helped to schedule and book my lessons, sent reminders of upcoming appointments and provided access to their car for the road test. My driving instructor Joe Griffith was punctual and professional. He provided clear directions and was explicit on where and why points would be given during the test. I was very nervous but Joe remained steady and calm throughout my lesson. On arriving at the test I knew that Joe had given me all the information I needed to pass, I just needed to apply it. I am happy to say that I passed on my first attempt.

Good class with Jim, I enjoyed it and learned a lot from him .

Joe has been a wonderful instructor thus far. In a short time I am feeling confident and looking forward to practicing my driving some more to ace that test! He provides timely feedback and direction. Marie In the office has also been wonderful assisting me with my scheduling of classes. Very happy I found this school.

Mario was one of the best instructors that I have had. He was able to clearly explain all of my questions about parallel parking, the three point turn, and any other driving nuances. He is also such a friendly person that it is easy to communicate with him and not be anxious while driving. He has also never been late to any of my appointments.

I had an awesome experience yet again with Sharif last night. Despite the rain, he made me feel confident and comfortable. I really enjoyed our conversations about what to expect when driving and how to handle yourself accordingly. You are the best Sharif! Thank you!!!!!

My lesson with Diego was amazing. We talked about the Thanksgiving holiday, Black Friday sales and life in general. I was so comfortable and at ease. He made me feel comfortable behind the wheel the whole time. He gave me great tips for the driving test as well as general driving directions. I really enjoyed my trip to work. Thank you Diego!

I must say the best experience so far was with Sharif. He was a phenomenal teacher. Very knowledgeable about the rules of the road and not hesitant to correct, guide and explain any missteps I may have made. He made me feel confident behind the wheel and helped ease my fears just by talking me through every step. I would like him to take me to the road test as he will be a great support for me that day. I can't wait to drive again with him on Wednesday. Great Instructor!!!!

Mr. Griffiths (Joe) was an excellent instructor. The reviews regarding his knowledge of how to properly operate a vehicle were right on point. His directions were easy to follow and his awesome ability to make me feel calm and confident behind the wheel were greatly appreciated. He never made me feel anxious or afraid even when he advised me of things I did incorrectly. I could definitely learn from his expertise and will be requesting more lessons under his direction. Joe was a great way to start the driving day.
