16 hours worth of driving lessons and I have already been on highways; narrow & windy mountain roads; and city roads with moderate to heavy traffic. It was unnerving at first but my instructor (David) is very competent and clear in his instructions. Driving through different roads really help in developing fine controls of the gas pedal and steering wheel; a heightened level of awareness of your surroundings so you could quickly adjust when necessary.David is also very meticulous and strict but in a fun way.He will make you repeat a task over and over until it becomes more fluid. If it makes me a better and safer driver, I am all for it. It is also especially helpful that he gives an assessment at the end of each driving lesson so you know where you are at and what you need to improve on. I highly recommend the New York Auto School to anyone who wants to learn how to drive but most especially to new older drivers.

Mario was an outstanding instructor and I believe he contributed greatly to me passing the driving test 1st time ! He has a personality very well suited to the job and really took the the time to clearly reinforce the most important aspects of successfully passing the the road test Great job Leo

The instructor knows how to prepare for the road test very well. He taught me for the basics. I am learned a lot and very satisfied.

Since moving to White Plains, I have only been dealing with this school. Though I have access to personal driving lessons at home, I will gladly continue to pay for lessons with instructors from this school. Saying that it is the best school is an understatement. This school has the most qualified instructors I have ever met and every lesson I have taken has been amazing. I have not only gained the confidence to drive but lost the fear of being behind the wheel as well. Now all I want to do is drive. Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!

The road class today with Mario was very good . He is so patient and I fee myself so confident what I am doing . New y auto school has good instructors .
