First experience here and they couldn't have made it better. I've been to other urgent care facilities with awful wait times and incompetent staff, and I was happily surprised at how quickly Marque took care of me and how caring they all were.

We were from out of town and we were so pleasantly surprised by the ease of parking and the small clinic. We were greeted very warmly by the front desk clerk/reception (please forgive me for not remembering her name because she was SO wonderful!) and it instantly made us feel welcome and put my daughter at ease. The receptionist walked me through the new patient paper work and checked us in and asked if we needed water or tea and then made friendly conversation with my daughter and I. She was so hospitable and I appreciated that we could experience that at an urgent care facility. Dr Michael Steiner saw my daughter and he was SO awesome! He walked in and greeted her first and really listened to her and treated her with so much kindness and didn't "talk down" to her. He listened to her fears about getting her ears checked with an otoscope when they were hurting so much and he reassured her in a way that really resonated with her and eased her fears. By the end of the visit they were chatting about books and I loved that he really invested in her as an individual and not just as a patient. He also directly asked her if she had any questions for him and he answered every one of them respectfully and patiently. They were there past closing and not a single employee (out of the 3 there) complained or rushed us. Dr. Steiner is not only a knowledgable and hard-working doctor, but he also has an excellent bedside manner and is great with kids. One last thing: I appreciated how he walked us out to the exit because it was past closing time and how he treated/reacted to the man who was sleeping on the back steps -- that humaneness did not go unnoticed and it and an impact on both my daughter and I. I highly recommend this particular Marque Medical location (sorry I can't speak as to the others) and wish we had you here in Northern California! Thank you so much!

I liked the professionalism with the staff. The doctor was wonderful and answered all my questions and concerns, I’m sad I forgot her name but she was so sweet and awesome. The nurse was great too, I believe her is Marilee and she’s so nice. The place was very clean and the staff is very nice and environment wasn’t tense or anything bad. All I felt were positive vibes.

I brought my son, James Brennan, into Marque last Wednesday. Brennan was burning up with a 103.5 degree temperature. I was told initially that there was a 45-minute wait. But Charlene happened to come by the front and realized how bad Brennan was feeling. She had him fast-tracked and brought into the back where he immediately got some ibuprofen. Everyone there took great care of Brennan, especially Char and Laini. They were very sweet to him and attentive. Dr. Dowling also was great. This was tough for us, as we were on vacation, but they took great care of Brennan and within a couple of days he was back to normal. Thanks again so much. -Jake Schaller

I was in need of a late night urgent care. I was able to be seen pretty quickly! Dr. Schmidgal was fantastic, helping me until the very end. I really don't know what I would have done without him or the staff at Marque!

I was seen the same day i called. Everyone in the office was great, From the time i walked in the front door until i left i was there about a hour, The doctor took her time with me and was not rushed. I wish we had more doctors offices like this

Dr on duty was attentaive and went the extra mile for insuring my sons health. The two ladies up front where extremly helpful in getting the prescritption filled and directions to childrens hospital in case we needed it.

Front desk receptionist stated that Marque did not accept my plan. After calling the plan, the plan reminded Marque that I was covered. After that delay; all was gold. The licensed staffers were competent, happy, and pleasant. The MD was brilliant, and he added some sarcasm to the mix, which was humorous and a value-added benefit to the visit. All that glitters is gold at Marque.... Thank you!

My wife and I were traveling from HI to MD, and arrived in San Diego very late Fri night on 1 day layover to visit our daughter. We each had very bad colds that had migrated into bronchitis and sinus, with major coughs and affecting our hearing and breathing. We went to Marque Medical Sat morning and were immediately checked in and seen by Nurse and Doctor very quickly. We were able to be diagnosed and receive our prescription medicine at the facility, and were on our way to getting healthy in less than 1 hour. We had Excellent and professional service, with very quick support. Having the ability to get the prescription filled on-site and not having to go to a pharmacy, was a blessing for time and general efficiency while not feeling well. The facility was easy to find, had ample and free parking (with voucher), and is located in a nice place of town. It was very clean and well outfitted with nice amenities for sick patients (tissue, hand sanitizer, TV, etc). I highly recommended this Urgent Care facility to my daughter and boy friend, other locals, and anyone visiting San Diego.

Both my husband and I were sick and decided we needed to have a visit to urgent care. The short wait and the quick information process allowed us to see the doctor at a fast pace. He took the time to listen to both of us and prescribed the right medication to help us feel better before we had to fly home the next day. Kudos to the doctor, the nursing assistant and the administrative staff for all their help.

My first time at Marque Medical was pleasant. It didn’t take very long to be seen by the assistant and doctor. The front desk associates were friendly and accommodating asking all the patients if we needed something to drink. I also appreciated filling out required documentation as a first time patient by tablet instead of handwriting everything. I Strongly recommend this facility if you’re looking for efficiency and friendliness. Thanks for everything Marilee and Doc!

I can not express how amazing and caring the staff was at the Pacific Beach location. It was July 4th and I was very ill. They took the utmost care of me from the front desk till I was released 3 hours later. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I went to Marque Urgent Care with extreme abdominal pain that I had never once in my life experienced. After filling out some brief paperwork, I was immediately attended to and the doctor quickly diagnosed me and advised that I rush to Scripps Hospital for a CT Scan. It turned out that I had a ruptured appendix and within an hour from the scan I was in surgery to have my appendix removed. My surgeon told me that if I would have waited even just a few more hours that I would have been hospitalized for weeks to combat infection rather than just a few days. Thanks to the Marquee Urgent Care team , I’m home safe with my family and recovering just a few days after a scary situation.
