Dr. Carter recently extracted the remains of a tooth which had broken in half. He did an excellent job. He slightly numbed my mouth as i asked. I used a low level laser that is FDA cleared for postoperative pain to treat my mouth before and after the procedure. I suffered no pain during the procedure, and none afterwards.

I was totally comfortable having chosen Dr Carter to do my extraction of the broken tooth! Dr Carter’s professional courtesy, quality of care, and genuineness is second to none! His staff, from the receptionist to all his professional attendants made me feel comfortable and cared for! You have a very clean and beautiful office also. I was not excited to go to an oral surgeon to get a tooth extracted...and the steps for an implant were scary! But the office is so nice and the staff are incredibly kind and understanding. They made me feel at ease right from the start. I now have the whole procedure behind me and it wasn't nearly as bad as anticipated. Dr Carter is very skilled and I felt secure knowing that if I needed anything they would be there for me. Hope I don't need to go there again but if you need to this is a great place.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Carte. No long wait, very good review before he started the extraction and no discomfort at all. This is my 2nd experience (the first was an extraction of 8 teeth in 1 procedure and all went well. Dr. Carter is also very experienced and I would not hesitate at all for further procedures, if needed.

I just had all my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Carter and the team. I was so nervous and had been putting this off for 10 years. I spent hours reading all the reviews that dr. Carter and the team had online and it made me so much more comfortable knowing the level of expertise they provide. Turns out the reviews couldn't be more true and I had an amazing procedure. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and comfort and very swift service. I sat down in the chair everything was explained in clear detail and they got right to it so I didn't even have time to be very nervous! Dr cater told me that I would feel the medicine hit me and what felt like 5 sec later I was waking up finished! I'm home laying in bed now at 6pm (procedure was at 830 am) and have still experienced very little to no pain without any pain meds and to be honest I can't believe it and I know this is because dr Carter and his team went above and beyond and did an amazing first class skilled removal of my teeth. Hats off to dr Carter and the whole team (I can't remember any of their names I was to sleepy sorry!) if you have to get your wisdom teeth removed and your nervous about it or have been putting it off do yourself a favor and call Maui oral surgery to get it done you will be in amazing hands! Oh and btw the office is super clean and state of the art you even get an amazing view of the island from your dental chair!

“The Best” is an understatement. One of the cleanest and coolest Dental places i’ve ever been in. My Wisdoms were causing me so much pain and I was ready to get them out so bad. My dentist referred me to Dr Carter and his team reached out to me pretty quick. On Jan. 26, 2026, I had a molar removed at Maui Oral Surgery. The procedure was done by Dr. Todd Carter, who performed in a crisp, professional manner throughout. Hi assistants were also professional and helpful. The procedure involved considerable drilling and was a bit noisy, but I felt no pain and the procedure was accomplished in 15 or 20 minutes. The post-surgery instructions were helpful and clear -- so much so that the removal site healed easily and without discomfort. No one looks forward to a procedure like this, but Dr. Carter and his staff did an excellent job.

My Dentist recommended Dr Carter for a tooth extraction. I was pleasantly surprised to come into a very clean and spacious praxis with a very friendly and caring staff. Dr Carter did an excellent job on removing the tooth, hardly any bleeding afterwards and I didn’t need any pain medication at all. The after care was explained very well and professional. I had the best deep cleaning experience yesterday. I have had it done once before at another place and it was so distressing I shook all over and had terrible neck pain for a week afterwards. I was so concerned but it was done so kindly by Philomena and she took time to give a break to lesson the tension. It was a very enjoyable visit and I thank you.

I had a great experience getting my wisdom teeth removed. The consultation process was smooth and all of my questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly. On the day of surgery, the nurses were very kind and helped me feel comfortable, especially since I was a little nervous because of my TMJ. The procedure itself went smoothly, and the recovery has been much easier than I expected. I have only experienced some mild pain and normal discomfort. The post-operative instructions were clear and very helpful. Overall, I felt well cared for at every step and would highly recommend this office.
