Typically, when a patient has a dentist appointment, there are moments of dread before the day arrives. Sometimes that happened to me as well, but once I arrive at Dr Carter's office, the negative feelings dissipate. Dr Carter and his staff are kind, pleasant, and comforting, and that puts me at ease. Everyone is professional going about his or her duties, and interacting with me to make sure I understand the planned procedure and the actual surgery. On several occasions, Dr Carter has called after hours to check on my recovery. That's unexpected but fully appreciated! P.S. The WOW factor begins as soon as you open the door and step into a beautifully decorated, modern office with huge picture windows.

Been with Dr Carter for a few years now, because of diabetic oral problems. I was really scared with regards to dental problems which started when she was still in the Philippine nes. But the employees have f Maui oral surgery are so accommodating, professional and friendly. And when I met Dr Carter, I was placed in a very comfortable position: he can put his patient to like a long time friend. I remember a particular time when doctor had to pull our several teeth at a time, and an angelic hand held my hand really soft and comfortable, very reassuring, that placed me in a very caring place that I’d never been before, ever. Dr carter gave me outstanding care for my extraction. As a retired registered nurse I appreciate the sensitivity to all the issues of my age and history of osteoporosis and treatment for that with prolia. My concern for pain was addressed and I hardly knew when the tooth was extracted. I would recommend dr. Carter without any reservation.

I could tell from the very first day Dr. Carter was a experienced oral surgeon that definitely knew his stuff. And that he was an expert in his field and I told him so when I came in to be operated on. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Carter and his assistants where really wonderful, friendly people too. And what a beautiful office too with a marble counter, smokey glass doors, super comfortable chairs and lovely fresh exotic orchids in the waiting room;)This is the first time ever I was excited to go to the dentist' I had to have 2 old, infected implants removed. It was an ordeal. I could tell it was going to be a complicated operation but Doctor proceeded confidently, did an excellent job in just one hour. It was great. Knowing I had picked the BEST, I felt safe, relaxed with no stress straight through. I walked out thinking to myself now that that was not so bad. It was very nice actually. Thank~you, Dr. Carter ♥

It was a long process for my implants but everyone in the office was very helpful in clearly explaining the process and the steps that needed. The staff was amazing. Dr. Carter was very professional.He did a great job answering all of my questions and explaining the procedure. I was very nervous and the staff was good at making me feel at ease. They remembered me by name at each visit and took the time to chat with me. The office atmosphere was comfortable and I felt well taken care of. Thank Dr. Carter and his staff. Your hard work and dedication to you everyday work does not go unnoticed.

Melanie Vallejos referred me to Dr. Carter. I am having an implant done and a sinus lift was necessary to proceed with. the implant. Dr. Carter has an amazing staff, they are all extremely courteous and they greet you with a smile. Dr. Carter is excellent. He manages to be professional and cordial at the same time. There was a bit of gnarly work that had to be done and he did it well, I was always comfortable in his care. There is only one negative and it has nothing to do with Dr. Carter. that is undoubtedly the coldest building on Maui. From the moment one enters until the moment one leaves.

Dr. Carter is an expert in his field and the only person I would entrust my oral surgery to. Beautiful new location and wonderful staff
