This was my first time at Maui Oral-Surgery and I will certainly use your services in the future and recommend you to others. I had a broken 21 tooth pulled and everyone in the office did a phenomenal job in working together in completing this task from sharing information with me from pre-op to post op. Both the dentist and assistant were very patient in completing this somewhat difficult task of removing the remains of my broken tooth. The good news is that the area where the tooth was removed has experienced very little discomfort and bleeding. Mahalo to everyone!

Dr. Carter is an outstanding Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He has created and is surrounded by a team of professionals who go out of their way to ensure that the quality of care you receive is top notch. Each step in the process is explained throughly from billing, to pre and post operation procedures. I definitely feel each member of Dr. Carters team cares about his patient and their overall well being. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Carter and his team conduct surgery on me. I had no pain during or after surgery which I contributed to the entire teams technical proficiency and the quality of care they deliver on a daily basis.

My daughter had to have 2 teeth pulled. She is 11 and was extremely nervous, the dental nurse assisting Dr Vickers comforted her throughout and the procedure was prompt. She did not even realize the Dr had pulled out her teeth! We even received a follow up call from Dr Vickers that same evening to check on her. Thank you for being kind to my daughter, we have had some bad pediatric dental experiences on Maui and this experience, being so positive for her was amazing.

My entire experience with Maui Oral Surgery was excellent. Dr Carter, Maggie, and the entire staff provided the highest level of medical care, ensured that I was comfortable throughout the procedures, treated me with respect, and answered all my questions. Additionally, the medical equipment are state of the art, the offices and surgical areas are extremely clean and well maintained. I felt that I was in good hands from the time I was greeted at the front desk until the time left.

The whole crew was incredibly helpful and informative. From having to change my appointment all the way through surgery on my abcess tooth. Dr Luke Vickers took his time explaining the process and was extra careful and patient throughout the procedure. Its only been a day and there is minimal pain or discomfort. 100% satisfied. At each step of the total procedure Dr Carter and his team were very careful to ensure the best quality job sometimes double checking to make sure everything was just right. I was surprised that the implant procedure was easier and little to no pain compared to root canals and even some crowns I have had done by other dentists. I love the new office very conveniently located and easy for me (I am handicapped). Scheduling was easy as was billing - no hassles. I highly recommend Dr Carter for dental implants.

I have been a patient of Dr Carter for a number of years. Dr Carter’s total office is beyond expectation. There is a type of caring that is carried through at Dr Carters from the moment you walk through the door. Everyone knows your name and is considerate about your needs. I am in the middle of an implant and I have been 100% comfortable at all times. I am looking forward to my visits to Doctor Carter’s office until completion of this process and recommend this office for anyone needing the care that is available at this amazing office.

Best friendly service from all at the staff, AC nice and cold and office is super clean. I love all the follow up calls to make sure I survived the surgery. Hopefully I won’t need anymore implants but if I do need I’ll be sure to only come back to this office. :)

I was scheduled for an emergency tooth removal with Dr. Vickers and I cant express enough how great my experience was with him and his assistant. Unfortunately, I do not remember the assistants name, but they were fantastic. I was extremely nervous and anxious. They LISTENED to my issues and concerns and took the time to truly understand me. They shared the process and procedures thoroughly while encouraging & reassuring me that everything was going to be okay! It’s was fast, painless, comfortable and as easy as it could be. I cannot recommend Maui Oral Surgery & Dr. Vickers enough!!! I would also like to include the 2 lovely receptionists that assisted me, 1 is Christine and I never heard the name of the other, but they were also great. Thank you so much Maui Oral Surgery Team!

Dr. Cater came from a referral from my dentist, as I was needing extensive work done in getting my smile to where I could only dream of. From my first consultation to my last dental procedure, Dr Carter and his amazing Team made my many visits to see him, one that I looked forward to. If you are looking for quality, caring, professional, safe, clean, family type environment then look no further. Dr. Carter surrounds himself with a loving and supportive team, which is hard to come by nowadays. Its never easy to to feel so vulerable when going through a major surgery, it really is putting my life in Dr. Carter's care. Dr. Carter I can truly say that I will miss seeing you and your Team. I can without reservation highly recommend Maui Oral Surgery. On a scale of 1 to 10, the office staff scores a 10 for being friendly, efficient, and always conscientious with the care they provide during the procedures. Additionally, they readily accommodated me when circumstances required multiple rescheduling of appointments. Dr. Carter also scores 10 as he is highly skilled, provided a comprehensive care plan, and utilizes technologically advanced diagnostic equipment to provide the highest level of care. His technical and people skills are outstanding and he more than met my oral surgery needs. In my opinion, he is the best on Maui!

Typically, when a patient has a dentist appointment, there are moments of dread before the day arrives. Sometimes that happened to me as well, but once I arrive at Dr Carter's office, the negative feelings dissipate. Dr Carter and his staff are kind, pleasant, and comforting, and that puts me at ease. Everyone is professional going about his or her duties, and interacting with me to make sure I understand the planned procedure and the actual surgery. On several occasions, Dr Carter has called after hours to check on my recovery. That's unexpected but fully appreciated! P.S. The WOW factor begins as soon as you open the door and step into a beautifully decorated, modern office with huge picture windows.

Been with Dr Carter for a few years now, because of diabetic oral problems. I was really scared with regards to dental problems which started when she was still in the Philippine nes. But the employees have f Maui oral surgery are so accommodating, professional and friendly. And when I met Dr Carter, I was placed in a very comfortable position: he can put his patient to like a long time friend. I remember a particular time when doctor had to pull our several teeth at a time, and an angelic hand held my hand really soft and comfortable, very reassuring, that placed me in a very caring place that I’d never been before, ever. Office is clean and spacious. Great view from the dental chair. Along with caring and friendly staff. Dr. Carter is very approachable, knowledgable and excellent at his profession. Hardly any pain afterwards. What little I had was relieved by plain old aspirin I had at home. Mahalo for such fine care.
