I have been going to Dr.Carter for several years now and have NEVER been disappointed is the care I have received. All procedures have been explained to me so I knew how we were going to proceed. He answered any questions I may have had and made sure I was never in distress. He also was in contact with my regular dentist so all was well coordinated. The staff have always been helpful and cheerful. I would never consider going to any other dentist. In my books he is A-1. I have recommended him to several friends and no one has been disappointed!

The care at Maui Oral Surgery was superb. Dr. Carter took care to explain everything in detail. His technical skills were excellent and his bedside manner was pleasant and comforting. I felt absolutely nothing during the procedure and throughout the postop recovery period. The staff was wonderful. I am an RN and I watched them closely as they set up the surgical trays. They were obviously highly skilled. All the staff made a point of making me feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious. The entire experience was of the highest caliber and I would recommend Dr. Carter and company to anyone that required oral surgery.

The office and surgery facility was modern, spotless, and had a really warm feel, despite being a medical office. Everyone was really patient with all my questions, communicative, and informative. I got my wisdom teeth removed there. I have had little discomfort in my healing process. I was really nervous about the procedure but the staff there helped me calm down and made feel better about it. One nurse said, "it is just like taking a nap." She was right besides the days of healing following the nap.

Staff is super friendly. Dr. Carter and his staff explain the procedures in a way one can understand. Care during and after procedures were such that I felt little pain either during or after the procedures. Appointments took a while to get, but it was well worth the wait.

The biopsy on my tongue was removed quickly and the pain lasted only about 30 seconds, during the procedure.

Just last week I had oral surgery at your clinic. My pre-op they spend time explaining my procedure in great detail. They did not rush thru it and asked if I had any question. The day of surgery every thing and the personal we’re very professional and again talked thru what was coming on. I felt very comfortable with my doctor and staff. My post -op was very clearly explained and sent full instructions home with me. A few days later my doctor (Dr. Vickers) call me himself to inform me of my biopsy report and if there was anything I needed. I’m very impressed with whole experience and if ever I needed them again I would not hesitate

This was my first time at Maui Oral-Surgery and I will certainly use your services in the future and recommend you to others. I had a broken 21 tooth pulled and everyone in the office did a phenomenal job in working together in completing this task from sharing information with me from pre-op to post op. Both the dentist and assistant were very patient in completing this somewhat difficult task of removing the remains of my broken tooth. The good news is that the area where the tooth was removed has experienced very little discomfort and bleeding. Mahalo to everyone!

He has created and is surrounded by a team of professionals who go out of their way to ensure that the quality of care you receive is top notch. Each step in the process is explained throughly from billing, to pre and post operation procedures. I definitely feel each member of Dr. Carters team cares about his patient and their overall well being. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Carter and his team conduct surgery on me. I had no pain during or after surgery which I contributed to the entire teams technical proficiency and the quality of care they deliver on a daily basis.

My daughter had to have 2 teeth pulled. She is 11 and was extremely nervous, the dental nurse assisting Dr Vickers comforted her throughout and the procedure was prompt. She did not even realize the Dr had pulled out her teeth! We even received a follow up call from Dr Vickers that same evening to check on her. Thank you for being kind to my daughter, we have had some bad pediatric dental experiences on Maui and this experience, being so positive for her was amazing.

My entire experience with Maui Oral Surgery was excellent. Dr Carter, Maggie, and the entire staff provided the highest level of medical care, ensured that I was comfortable throughout the procedures, treated me with respect, and answered all my questions. The whole crew was incredibly helpful and informative. From having to change my appointment all the way through surgery on my abcess tooth. Dr Luke Vickers took his time explaining the process and was extra careful and patient throughout the procedure. Its only been a day and there is minimal pain or discomfort. 100% satisfied. At each step of the total procedure Dr Carter and his team were very careful to ensure the best quality job sometimes double checking to make sure everything was just right. I was surprised that the implant procedure was easier and little to no pain compared to root canals and even some crowns I have had done by other dentists. I love the new office very conveniently located and easy for me (I am handicapped). Scheduling was easy as was billing - no hassles. I highly recommend Dr Carter for dental implants.

I have been a patient of Dr Carter for a number of years. Dr Carter’s total office is beyond expectation. There is a type of caring that is carried through at Dr Carters from the moment you walk through the door. Everyone knows your name and is considerate about your needs. I am in the middle of an implant and I have been 100% comfortable at all times. I am looking forward to my visits to Doctor Carter’s office until completion of this process and recommend this office for anyone needing the care that is available at this amazing office.
