My instructor Mario was amazing. He taught me all the necessary information about the road exam and those were really useful. And he is a supportive and very professional instructor. Without him, I couldn't pass the exam for the first time. Thank you again, Mario. I definitely recommend the school and instructor.

My pre licensing instructor was Richard Arzeno. He was absolutely amazing. I took a 5 hour course once before but unfortunately I moved away, forgot all about it and let it expire. My first pre licensing course was from Canandaigua driving school Upstate NY. It was a waste of time as the instructor was extremely rude and clearly didn’t care. He just showed us video after senseless video. Richard was different. He actually took the time to draw things on a white board & explain exactly what he meant, he encouraged us to ask questions no matter how silly we may think it is and most importantly the 5 hrs didn’t drag by. I found that the whole time I was truly learning things that would help me on my road test and he would occasionally crack a joke to keep us focused! After taking this course I genuinely feel way more confident and informed on what I will be doing during my road test and what I should be doing, He basically went over every and any possible scenario. Thank you so much Richard for being so knowledgeable, kind & informative!

The service provided by New York Auto School is excellent. I'm not from the USA, and started out with zero driving experience, but their lessons enabled me to pass the driving test first time. The instructors (I had Joe Griffith for most lessons, and also Mario V for a couple just before the test) were fantastic, knowledgeable about what was required, quick to identify areas where I needed to improve, clear in their explanations, and patient! Also the service is very well organised, in terms of reminding me of upcoming lessons, and re-scheduling when I needed to. Overall - highly recommended!

The lessons have been great with Joe DeFrancesco. It is very convenient as he picks me up at my home and then drops me back off. He is really helping me to become more confident.

Our experience with New York Auto School has been excellent! They were able to work with my children's schedule, they are very professional and efficient. Mario is a great instructor! My children were comfortable with him and they came away with confidence in their driving ability and both passed their test on the first try.
