I’ve been a patient of Dr. Grin the past 18 months. I wish I had gone to him earlier in my life. He is a person who takes time to know you so he can better diagnose your sleeping disorder. His assessment was spot on. Today, my sleeping pattern has improved. My wife’s sleep has improved as well since I no longer snore when I sleep if I follow Dr. Grin’s direction. Also, Dr. Grin’s staff is a pleasure to work with.

My experience with Dr. Paul Grin has been fulfiing and a great relief to my jaw problem. Even before my appointment I am able to fill up necessary information & as soon as I come to my appointment the front office staff, Blanca & Carmen are very efficient, solicitous with good patient service! Reception room is clean, calming & comfortable with music to soothe ones nerves with nice sights playing on a wide screened TV. Refreshments are also available. They are prompt & professional. Dr. Grin makes time to explain nature of one’s condition. Very thorough examination. Attentive & efficient nurse Ruth complement Dr. Grin’s work. Totally well organized medical office! I would definitely recommend Dr. Paul Grin to others who need his expertise!

I have osteoarthritis in my jaw that I've lived with for 15 years. I finally decided to see Dr. Grin because the pain was affecting my daily life, and I'm so glad I found him. You can tell that he cares about his patients. He gives you his undivided attention during your visits, and truly listens to what you have to say. He doesn't treat his patients like he knows better than they do, he listens to what you want and works with you on managing your condition. His staff is amazing. I've never had a bad encounter with any of his support staff. Shout out to Carmen who managed to badger and bully my insurance into paying for my treatment.

I’ve been searching TMJ specialist for years and I went many other “specialists” but I finally found the true TMJ expert: Dr. Grin. He is very knowledgeable and sincere. My treatment is physical exercise and day/night appliances. Unlike other Drs. who prescribe one size fits all treatment plans, he finds the way it fits my condition and even my emotional difficulties. I could write on and on about great things about him. I highly recommend Dr. Grin. Also all his staff are very kind and willing to help.

After going to a dentist, ENT, and my Doctor for terrible pain that I had behind my ear and down my neck and all of them telling me they didn't know what was causing it I found Dr. Grin on the Internet. He took the time to listen to me and prescribed the necessary tests to diagnose what was causing the pain. He followed up by treating the pain. I was so relieved. I was in a lot of pain for over one year. It was very debilitating. Now I can go on with my life feeling so much better!

I visited Dr. Grin's office due to issues with my jaw. It began with "clicking", became really stiff and even snapped a few times. It was very frightening! I was able to contact his office immediately and get in to see him within a couple of days. The staff was very warm and inviting. The office very modern and beautiful. Dr. Grin was always punctual and was never late for my appointment. I was even stuck in traffic one day and he waited 30 minutes to see me. I saw Dr. Grin to have a growth removed from my tongue. No pain and expertly done. Then, as part the examination, he suspected TMJ which was confirmed by an in-office scan. So, now we are fixing that to prevent future jaw pain. - Good Catch Doc!

Dr Grin is a truly amazing physician and person. Before meeting Dr Grin my 10-year-old son experienced excruciating, unbearable pain for months. We saw so many doctors and so many specialists and no one had any idea what was wrong with him. Other doctors suggested his pain may be psycho somatic or a product of TMJ or swimmers ear. Several doctors looked at us and said "are you sure you're in pain? You look fine to me". In the meantime my sweet son would cry and moan all day. He didn't sleep and would drop to the floor kicking and screaming in unbearable agony. I didn't know that that an orofacial pain specialist existed but I am so thankful the specialty exists and that Dr Grin is one of them. Dr Grin examined my son and in minutes was able to diagnose my son (he has a rare nerve disease - nervus intermedius neuralgia also known as geniculate neuralgia) and offer a treatment plan. My son's progress has been remarkable and six months after we met Dr Grin he is now returning to the happy, healthy boy he used to be. While Dr Grin is an excellent diagnostician he also has a wonderful bedside manner. He truly understands pain and communicates his respect and care for his patients' in a genuine manner. This gentle approach was incredibly therapeutic to my son who had seen countless doctors who questioned whether he was really in pain. Dr Grin's immediate understanding and acceptance of my son's pain gave him hope after months of despair. I can never say enough good things about Dr Grin. I will be forever thankful that we found him and that he is my son's doctor. On the practical side Dr Grin's staff is incredibly professional and friendly. They are very responsive and helpful. We never wait when we see Dr Grin for an appointment. When I have contacted Dr Grin outside of appointment times whether for an urgent or non-urgent matter he has always responded very promptly. Dr. Grin has been extremely effective in helping me with my TMJD. His approach is conservative and avoids overly costly interventions that might permanently change my bite. He is never rushed with you, and makes sure you understand what's going on and what the treatment protocol is. After dealing with jaw pain for the better part of a year, I stumbled across Dr. Grin on the internet. After my very first root canal went array, I developed a very painful case of TMJ, with trigger points throughout my face, as well as burning tongue syndrome. After spending hundreds of dollars trying to find someone who could identify what was happening to me, and more importantly WHY it was happening, Dr. Grin appeared! He is thorough, patient, compassionate and his office staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. I drive from Burbank to Torrance to see Dr. Grin and it is absolutely worth the trip.
