Great staff; feel so much better!

I came to Dr. Grin suffering from TMJ pain and sleep apnea. I was very impressed with the Dr. and his staff. They made me feel welcome each visit and the staff was very efficient . Dr. Grin is very knowledgeable and I now have a new mouth guard and my sleep has greatly improved. Thank you Dr. Grin. I look forward to seeing you again.

I would like to tell you how wonderful our experience has been with Dr. Paul Grin, with regards to our daughters intense TMJ pain. Dr. Grin has completely cured our daughter of her jaw "locking" and has been able to decrease the amount of pain she suffers after eating certain things. Her jaw was in very bad shape and Dr. Grin has been incredible with rectifying the situation. His assistant Ruth is wonderful, as is his office staff. We are very glad that Dr. Grin was recommended to us to help our daughter. We highly recommend Dr. Grin and his practice!!!

The office staff are very helpful and have great attitudes, they are very kind people here. Made my day! Also Dr. Grin seems to be pretty meticulous in his work. I'm very relieved that he was able to identify the discomfort I've been dealing with for years in my jaw and neck.

I rarely leave a review. However, it's rare to have an amazing experience with a medical office staff and the Doctor. This is what happens when you engage with Dr. Grin and his team. From the first initial call to schedule and each visit. I felt like I was definitely going to be in good hands. De. Grin is thorough and his bedside manner is unmatched. He truly cares about identifying the issue and offering a plan. Strongly recommend!

Dr Grinn take great car in explain what need to be taken car of and how to do it. When you arrive for your appointment time his friendly and helpful staff is right there to help and Dr Grinn see you at that time. No waiting siting in a room for an hour like other Drs..

Fantastic staff, great customer service, very efficient and friendly. Dr. Grin is wonderful. He takes his time, is thorough and really listens. It's very hard to find a specialist in this field. We are so fortunate to have him in the area.

I've been seeing Dr. Grin for about six months now, and have appreciated how straight forward and educational he and the staff have been during my appointments. He explains things in a simple way and promotes non-surgical solutions. When I experienced an emergency, his staff squeezed me in for a quick appointment and Dr. Grin released my lock jaw in a matter of seconds. Everyone in the office is extremely kind, and I look forward to seeing the results we've discussed through my treatment plan.

My T M J was so painful I was happy that my Dentist referred me to Dr Paul Grin. Even though not knowing what to expect, upon entering his office & meeting the receptionist & his assistant I was very comfortable, also very important to me was the cleanliness of the office and patient rooms. When meeting Dr Grin I was surprised at what a knowledgeable Dr he is and also how he is so compassionate And really dedicated to his specialty & to his patients. Thank you Gr Grin.

If you have any type of facial pain, definitely get your referral to this office. Dr. Grin and his staff have been extremely accommodating in taking care of my jaw issues. In a short time, they were able to identify exactly what was wrong and administer a medical regiment for pain relief. Everything has been in-office, so no need to drive around town for different procedures, e.g CT scans, etc. Excellent communication and always on time appointments. I can't say enough good things about this practice and I am fortunate that my dentist referred me to them.

Dr. Grin's office and staff are using excellent Covid protocols and are exceptionally kind and courteous. When I started treatment my bite was so misaligned my teeth only contacted in one spot and I had occasional pain. I'm happy to say that after a relatively short treatment my bite is back to normal and the pain is gone!

Dr. Grin's office has wonderful staff that helped me through the process of getting my insurance cover my treatment. The staff was helpful in finding appointments for me when I was in severe pain within short notice. Dr. Grin is understanding and listens well to the concerns of his patients. I am absolutely happy with the treatment I received from him and will continue coming to his office. I had tried four other doctors before I met Dr. Grin and I 100% recommend anyone looking for TMJ treatment to come to him.

It was quick and easy to set up appointments, and the technicians are so helpful in figuring out health insurance for you! A few details were not explained to me about my diagnosis, but otherwise I came to understand my condition much better and received multiple options for treatment. Dr. Grin is definitely very knowledgeable and experienced in his work. All around, Dr. Grin and the staff are very nice, easy to work with, helpful, and friendly.

More than words can say, I feel extremely lucky to have been referred to Dr. Grin and his team by my dentist Dr. Wayne Park. For many years, I've had TMJ issues but it intensified earlier last year to the point I could hardly open and close my mouth for a few days. By the time I got around to making an appointment with Dr. Grin, I had gone back to my more regular state of pain, but that did not make Dr. Grin take things any less seriously. I am sure that many of the patients Dr. Grin sees have far worse levels of pain at the time of their visit than I did, but Dr. Grin treated me with the utmost of care, attentiveness, and professionalism. I even downplayed my pain stating that it wasn't necessarily so much pain as it was "dull ache" and he replied saying "that's still pain". And with that dull ache/pain now virtually 100% gone at the time that I write this, I now have gained perspective and see an absolute world of difference and can recognize how intense the pain I was experiencing actually was and that I had simply learned to deal with it (i.e., I had normalized it) all these years. The particular plan of treatment I received was (more or less) as follows: 1) Initial consultation + CT scan. Sent home on soft diet + hot/wet towel neck care. 2) Follow up consultation w/ CT reading and further diagnosis. Sent home with 2 weeks worth of anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxer medication + jaw/tongue exercises. 3) Follow up consultation to track progress and get fitted for mouthpiece (for my grinding). 4) Final consultation to pick up and ensure proper fitting of mouthpiece. The initial consultation was extremely thorough and I did not feel rushed in any way. In fact, I even wrote up about an entire page of history and Dr. Grin had reviewed it in its entirety before the appointment. There is a great focus not just on the jaw itself but on all related areas as well - whether it be the neck, something psychological (such as stress), etc. With each follow up, I reported any differences in the level of my pain at the time of my arrival. As my treatment progressed, my pain gradually began to reduce to the point where I had became virtually pain free by around the time of my last visit. To date, none of my symptoms have returned and I am virtually pain free in relation to my former TMJ issues and confident that I will continue to be due to the treatment, medication, tools, and mouthpiece I received. It would be ridiculous not to also mention that everyone on staff is what truly makes the office special. Before I even made my first appointment, I was given a very clear sense of how treatment would generally go and what the costs would be (ballpark of course since there would be no way of knowing without actual diagnosis). There was no guesswork nor any feeling that I was being rushed or that they were just trying to get another body in the door - rather, every step of the way was honest and professional on every level. As well, I was helped with several insurance items that the office was not obligated to help me with but nonetheless were kind enough to take the initiative to do so. All that to say, since - as I said - my condition has been more than sufficiently treated, I won't be going back now for another few months. I am extremely thankful for being referred to Dr. Grin and staff. Without sounding too dramatic...it genuinely felt like a reset button was switched in my life and I don't have to deal with the severe pain that was afflicting my day to day life for countless years in a greater way than I had even previously realized. As I stated earlier...it wasn't until after the pain was gone that I got perspective again on what it was like to actually feel normal instead of "normal" being a state of perpetual discomfort and pain. I will always be grateful to everyone at Dr. Grin's office!!!

Dr. Grin and his staff are amazing. The entire experience is something you never see when visiting a doctor these days. For starters, when you enter the office you're the only patient there.....that's because they only schedule one patient at a time during half hour or hour increments. But beyond that, Dr. Grin is incredibly personable and dedicated to getting the patient's diagnosis figured out correctly. His nurse, Ruth, is also top notch. As I said, every time I visit Dr. Grin I end up saying to myself, why can't all doctor's offices be like this?

My daughter saw Dr. Grin for a TMJ issue in 2019, and she was very happy with him. He helped solve her TMJ problem, which helped her immensely. She suggested that I see Dr. Grin because I needed to be treated for sleep apnea and snoring. I work in Orange County, and Dr. Grin's staff was very accommodating in setting up appointments that fit my schedule. He did a complete exam that included a sleep study, and he was able to identify my issues immediately. I tried CPAP in the past, and could not adapt to it, so he fitted me for a new and different appliance that worked. He made adjustments that helped improve my breathing, reduce my snoring, and helped to reduce my sleep apnea to a mild level. Dr. Grin is very patient, has a very good staff, and was able to resolve most of my sleep apnea issues. There is still more work to be done to completely resolve my snoring and sleep apnea, and I am glad that Dr. Grin will be helping me.

Dr. Grin and his staff have been a extremely helpful over the last year and a half. I came to Dr. Grin with severe pain in my jaw, neck and ear, all related to TMJ. He worked with me to find just the right treatment to give me relief. I quickly started feeling better. The most relief I felt was after a PRP injection. Dr. Grin is very thorough, explains everything that he does and why he's doing it. He's very compassionate, understanding and a great listener. I would definitely recommend Dr. Grin and his staff, they are all wonderful!

Dr. Grin came highly recommended to me, and I would highly recommend him to you. He took a thorough and accurate assessment and history of my TMD related problems and set up a course of treatment that I am confident will resolve my issues. His office staff were warm, friendly, professional and helpful. Dr. Grin also helped resolve some migraine issues and some sleep apnea issues that were being undertreated by others. 5:5 for sure!

I had some serious TMJ problems where I would wake up with a locked jaw and couldn't move it. I was in so much pain and it also clicked everytime i ate food. I was referred to Paul Grin by my doctor I believe and he helped me a lot. Going to him was pretty pricy because my insurance didn't cover much but it was worth it. He prescribed me some strong advil to take during the day and night for my pain and that has helped. Paul Grin also showed me exercises to loosen up my jaw hinges. The waiting room is clean and you never have to wait a while to be seen as they are always on top of things. The employees there are SO NICE! They remember me everytime and we have casual conversations. The office isn't very hard to find. I never have a difficult time finding parking. I highly recommend seeing Paul Grin.

I've been dealing with long-term musculoskeletal pain in my jaw. Dr. Grin has really helped make it much better. It's manageable now, without narcotic painkillers, and that's a great step on the road to recovery!

Dr Grin’s office staff was courteous and professional, providing thorough explanations of everything to expect during treatment. Dr. Grin himself was very concerned about making sure my medical condition was adequately addressed, and that I was comfortable at all times during treatment. He set forth a plan for treatment that was sensible and easy to understand, and do far, it has been very successful. I have experienced wonderful customer service from the office staff. They are concerned with my well being and respective of my time and physical condition. The offie is clean and welcoming and the Covid-19 requirements are strictly followed. Dr. Grin is very through and explains what he is doing, why it is necessary and what the expected results are. He also listens to me and answers all of my questions in lay-mans terms. I would recommend him to any friends or family who have need of his services.
