After 40 years of care with the Doctor(s) Leopold....still the best in SLO county for quality, expertise, chair-side manner, and staff. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else !

Everyone is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. My hygienist Maria is so sweet and even though she’s sees a lot of patients, she always remembers me and asks about my job, pets, etc. Definitely makes a trip to the dentist easier! Highly recommend them!

This was my second teeth cleaning visit with Lisa. As always her quality of care could not be better, she really cares for my comfort as she performs her procedure and gives me the best cleanings that I can ever remember having. I have enjoyed all my visits here at SLO Smiles and especially the front office staff, they always make me feel welcome and are willing to work with my schedule so the visits are at my convenience. Wow...I had just changed dentists after 40-years with my prior doctor, as he retired. I am so thrilled with SLO Smiles; from the moment I walked in and was greeted, to the new patient dental exam, and with the professionalism of the hygienist and Dentist. They use equipment that was not available with my prior dentist and offered a unhurried exam and discussion. So glad that I was lucky to find SLO Smiles.

The best dental office I’ve been associated with. All of the staff are friendly and courteous and so very helpful. Very comfortable during my entire procedure. Dr. Ian explained everything he was doing, always asking if I were ok.

First impressions starts with staff. Everyone with whom I came in contact was friendly and efficient. The high tech equipment blew me away. Visits to the dentist have been a part of my life since the Mid forties. The result is I still have all my teeth but some anxiety about procedures. The new methods work well to erase those memories. Of course none of this would happen if it weren’t for the excellent treatment by the Doctors.

As a new patient with SLO smiles I have to say that after two visits I give them a five star rating. I’m no longer apprehensive about getting my teeth cleaned. Liisa had all the tools to make me comfortable through an otherwise uncomfortable procedure. The office staff is friendly & helpful. Truly a remarkable team at SLO Smiles!

I’ve had absolutely terrible experiences with other dentists , everyone at SLO smiles went about and beyond to keep me comfortable and calm. Ian and Mark answered all my questions and even showed me pictures of what they were doing. All the work I had done was as pain free and calm as it possibly could have been. I get my teeth cleaned by Cambria, she is very thorough and efficient. She keeps it light and comfortable and understands my irrational fear of shots. I highly recommend her. To wrap it up I’ll say five stars out of five and a bonus star for being open on some Saturdays.

Dr. Craig Main went out of his way to make me comfortable and as pain free as possible. He is very personable and caring. Both he and Jamie his Registed Dental Assistant were very professional and excellent. My only criticism would be that I neglected to ask how long the procedures would take. I had very difficult upper tooth that needed both a root canal and a crown and both appointments were over 2 hours. That is a long time to have your mouth open.

I had a dental emergency when a veneer fell off late at night. I was seen the next morning and Dr. Main was able to cement the veneer back on. It looks like it never had come off. Nobody could tell it ever fell out. I trust the dentists at SLO Smiles to keep my teeth healthy and keep me smiling. Thank you for taking care of me.
