I suffered a fractured tooth while hiking in Portugal last fall. Dr. Leopold and staff provided excellent advice to deal with the situation until I returned to SLO and then saw me in the office the morning after my return. Initially Dr Leopold provided a range of options but ultimately, the fracture was found to be so deep that we had to remove the tooth and initiated the process for a dental implant to replace my missing tooth. While a dental implant is a lengthy process, it was well worth the wait and the office helped me to find an excellent source of financing to cover the dental procedure

Can not say enough about Dr. Main's ability as a dentist, along with his "minimally invasive" approach to dentistry. While others push for root canals and crowns, Dr. Main has saved my and my family's existing tooth structures with minimal cost and with excellent, durable results. The results are, in my opinion, an excellent patient experience that does not tax the patients' health and well-being. We will be back! Thank you Dr. Main and Staff!

As always my hygienist and dentist took excellent care of me at my semi annual visit yesterday. I actually look forward to my check ups. My teeth have been rock solid for some time now due to the excellent care I get at SLO Smiles.

my experiences have always been positive. There is a warmth to the office even though is is very professional, they make you feel important! I have been coming here more than 20 yrs, when the started in the little house next door. I have no complaints, everyone is wonderful, from the front desk, to the hygenists,dental assistants to the doctors! I highly recommend SLO Smiles to everyone!

I have been with Dr. Main for awhile and always appreciate his assistants from Brittany to Maria who is my hygienist. Dr.Main is an excellent dentist and have had several things to fix and it is always done with care and comfort. Recently, I had to have my tooth fixed due to decay and he checked to see if it would be ok to not have any anesthesia since my decay wasn’t too deep. I appreciate the option of not having to use it and while he was working on it he would always ask me if I felt pain which I didn’t have. My appointment was prompt and I didn’t have to wait a long time to see Dr.Main. The office staff are helpful when it comes to filing with Delta Dental and are courtesy in answering my questions. Thanks for keeping my teeth healthy!

Dr Leopold and his entire staff is absolutely the best! The pin hole surgery I had done on my gums turned out better than I could have imagined! There was little discomfort or downtime. I would highly recommend them for all your dental needs!

I love how well I'm treated by everyone in the office...it's a very positive atmosphere. My hygienist,Maria, has helped me to understand and floss more efficiently...with her guidance my gums are not bleeding anymore. I feel certain every time I get my teeth cleaned, I won't be treated roughly or have any pain. My dentist, Craig Main is the best...I wouldn't let anyone else work on my teeth.

I have always had the best care at this office. If you have any questions about flossing or how to use your water pick they show you a video that explains it. I have never had such good care. They are kind and gentle and everyone works well together. I trust them so well that my children are now patients also. Thank-you.

I have had dental anxiety since I was a kid, but Teckie Foster’s kindness and humor relieves my fears. She is gentle, receptive to my personal comfort needs, and she makes sure to go at my own pace. She even remembers my preference for smooth cleaning paste over the gritty kind! I would absolutely recommend SLO Smiles as a whole and the hygienist Teckie in particular to anyone who dreads getting their teeth cleaned or who has sensory issues!

I have gone to SLO Smiles for decades and always feel confident and well cared for. Any situation I have they take care of. A cracked tooth that falls into my mouth while at the movies. When I leave the movie at 8:30 I do not expect the dentist to be open, but they are. SLO Smiles took me in and stayed late to assure my comfort. They feel like family!!

Outstanding dental care! Dr. Main is the best root canal doctor I’ve ever known. Have done a few root canals in the past four years and never have had any problems. His assistant is wonderful and sweet and I was relaxing in comfort chair with massage future build in during the procedure. Thank you dr Main!

I have always had a positive experience with Dr. Murphy and my hygienist, Michelle. She is so careful during each appointment and checks in with me frequently to ensure I am comfortable. Dr. Murphy is great and takes the time to listen to any concerns or questions I may have. I've been to quite a few dentists and have always been satisfied, but never as grateful and enthusiastic as I am about your office and staff. Techie knows how to put people at ease, as does Dr. Ian. I have total confidence in their skills and advice. My dental hygiene has also improved greatly because of their genuine caring and ability to explain good oral care. The office staff is also highly efficient and friendly. I'm so happy I was referred to you all.
