My experience with SLO smiles-starts always positive, from the receptionists, dental assistants, hygienists, to wonderful Dr. Ian...btw, they are ALL wonderful! Dental visits can be a very nervous experience for some...however, SLO smiles, there is so much warmth,,graditute, mixed with great humor! State of the art equipment, HIGHLY skilled, and educated...... providing the very best care for all their patients- THANK YOU, SLO SMILES! ~Mary O'Neill~~~

I couldn't think of a friendlier, nicer staff to deal with when it comes to taking care of my mouth and teeth. You're always made to feel comfortable with whoever is working with you and any anxiety I've ever had is quickly gone after a few minutes talking with them. I would recommend the office to anyone!

Teckie is awesome! She is firm when needed and always gentle and professional.

I appreciate getting an appointment on short notice to be evaluated for a broken tooth. I was given a lot of information and a treatment plan. Very helpful, nice people.

I have been with SLO Smiles since 1977 and can only say They are The Best..!!! I recently had an appointment with Dr. Main whom I never had a need to see, I was overwhelmed with his Positive Personality, Knowledge and overall Demeanor. My regular Dentist, Dr. Nick Murphy is the same. The staff is likewise. I have an extremely bad gag reflex and the staff is very kind when taking x-rays etc. I highly recommend this Dental Office..!!!

I've been exposing my mouth and teeth to LMM (SLOSMILES) for 25 years. During that time I've made great relationships and... oh.... had my dental work done as well. I still have most of my teeth, and I credit these folks with most of that success. The rest has been due to my diligent work based on their guidelines for maintaining a healthy mouth. This does not include any words that exit from that mouth. That's my full responsibility. But if you're looking for a place to call "dental home"... you will be well cared for at LMM/SLOSMILES. Dr. Murphy has been my dentist since about 1978. He is proactive in recommending preventive oral care, he is up to date and generous with his knowledge, and he is kind. His enthusiasm for his profession is evident. Because I have seen Dr. Murphy regularly for so long I have benefited from his care and advise. He also has a great personality & sense of humor. I have always felt perfectly comfortable with the dental care I have received at SLO Smiles.

Tiki (Spelling not right but phonetically correct!) was great. Knowledgeable (I learned stuff about teeth I never knew), articulate, and a steady gentle hand resulted in a great hygiene (cleaning) experience. Why she can even hold a tune, she sang while working! From the moment you enter the door you are greeted by professional, pleasant, competent staff who are always courteous and eager to assist. My hygienist Michele is thorough, professional, extremely pleasant and very informative. Dr. Murphy is highly competent, professional and pleasant and he wants to ensure that each patient is receiving high quality pain free dental care. I have also seen Dr. Mark Leopold on occasion and he is also very competent, professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend SLO Smiles to anyone!

I’m from out of town and just moved here when a dental emergency unfortunately occurred. The staff was so incredibly supportive and gave me all my options (as I did not have insurance yet). I will definitely be choosing SLO Smiles as my primary office for routine cleaning. Very highly recommend!

I see Teckie Foster every six months for a dental hygiene appointment. I look forward to seeing her. She is friendly, warm, professional, and compassionate about her work and clients. Her skills are exceptional and she dearly cares about how I am doing. She always has a warm big smile and is a jewel to say the least. I look forward to my next appointment with her.

Dr. Craig Main and the staff at SLO Smiles have been fabulous. I'm from out of town, visiting family in SLO, and had need of an emergency root canal. No fun! I got an appointment promptly and the first steps have been taken. The care has been terrific. Dr. Main is so good at explaining everything he thinks needs to be done (and why) and listens to patient questions and concerns. He goes the extra mile to be accessible. His caring, calm demeanor and excellent dental skills helped to make the procedure painless! And his assistants are also skilled and friendly. This has certainly been my most positive experience with a dentist!

The staff at slo smiles are awesome, to the moment you walk thru those doors you are greeted by friendly faces and smiles. The assistants took great care of me and my needs to be as comfortable as possible plus the wait time was not long at all, I was able to make it back to work on time during my lunch. I appreciate all the SLO Smiles staff. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate my hygienist, Tammy. Because I have receding gums, having my teeth cleaned can be painful. Tammy is so cautious, mindful, and patient. She remembers what techniques work and tries new ways to make the experience less painful. Because of Tammy I'm not afraid to come in for a cleaning.
