I cannot say enough good things about this dental practice! I am so fortunate to have been going to Dr. Mark Leopold and hygienist Michele for over 20 years. And now I have transitioned to Mark's son Ian and I could not be happier. They really are all wonderful people from the back to front office staff. I owe my beautiful smile to them!

This is a great practice (Dr. Craig Main), and Tekie (hygienist) is the best... quality of work, care, attitude. I have actually learned much from Tekie’s guidance on dental care. They really do take a personal interest.

Was absolutely delighted with my experience and treatment at SLOSmiles! Because I'm new in town, I wasn't quite sure where to go when I had a slight dental emergency. They were able to get me in quick! Once there, everyone was super friendly... and very professional. I was made to feel comfortable, every step of the procedure is explained up-front, and I knew exactly what to expect. Plus they made me laugh... what more can you ask? Thank YOU!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Main's since moving to Arroyo Grande from the Bay Area 12 years ago. I cannot speak highly enough of my interactions with him and his assistants. He is kind, gentle and always has a charming smile. I have had a lot of dental work over the years, and I think Dr. Main is the best of all. He has my complete trust. I believe this the most important quality any physician can possess.

I've been a patient of Dr. Main for many years. He and his staff are always very friendly and professional. My appointment today with Dr. Main was no exception. He's a great Dentist as well as a great guy. The office staff are all very knowledgeable and efficient as well as friendly. Another person I need to mention is my Hygienist, Maria. She's a Rock Star. Everybody is a team: doctors, hygienists, everybody. Love Maria and Dr. Murphy, but Dr. Leopold has also done corrective work with my bite after having a filling done. Not a problem! Honestly, I think they're all so good because one is trying to outdo the other. (Kidding!)But it's that kind of friendly atmosphere that makes the difference in the office. Exams are thorough, gentle, and always seem to be perfecting their techniques. Everybody is very understanding and wants the best experience for you whether it's giving you a chance to swallow while laid back in the chair (raise a hand if you need a break), or if you want to plug in some music. And always full of recommendations about good products, the best mouthwash and a getting on board with a water pick. 10 out of 5 stars!

Speaking as someone who is apprehensive about visiting the dentist, I’ve never had a bad experience at SLO smiles. The staff, hygienists, and dentists are all wonderful! They’ll do everything they can to accommodate your schedule!

Dr. Ian Leopold and his team are amazing. I came in shortly after I lost both my parents, both were Dr. Leopold's patients. The genuine concern from everyone was overwhelmimg to me. I eventually had 5 implants done in one procedure. I was cared for and treated with such tenderness and comfort. Follow up calls are always made and I know my mouth does not make life easy for the team! I am always aware of what is going on and could not be happier here!!

The team at SLOSMILES is outstanding with their professionalism and personal care, and are up to date on all the latest dental techniques. Dr. Murphy and his assistants always makes sure I am comfortable and that I understand whatever procedure he is about to perform. The staff at the front desk are also very efficient with scheduling appointments with flexibility and courtesy. Their specific dental instructions have improved the techniques I use saving me $$$$. Respectful of your time .No longer shot phobic.Teckie is great hygienist.They are helpful in saving cost without costing you long term.I use to faint when I got injections and now I don't even feel them. Always up to date techniques.

Today I had my dental cleaning with Janet and it was the best teeth cleaning I have ever had! Janet makes you feel comfortable, cares for, and is very warm! The whole cleaning process was smooth and the best I have ever had! So happy with this office!

Excellent and convenient scheduling. Dr. Murphy is great, explains and is reassuring throughout visit. I trust him emotionally. The whole staff: front desk to dental hygienists, and dental assistants are courteous, efficient and kind! Their is a sense of family in this office and I feel a part of the family by being a patient here!

I recently lost a crown, one week before traveling for Christmas. After having a very traumatic experience with the last dentist I visited, I have avoided returning to one for several years. I called SloSmiles because it was the one I remembered seeing an ad for. They got me in the next day! Dr. Murphy was wonderful! He addressed my anxiety about seeing a dentist, helped alleviate my fears during the procedure and reset my crown right then. The office runs smoothly and everyone is courteous. I have found a great dentist!

my experience is great, i have been a patient for approx 12 years. everyone is friendly, and makes you feel comfortable. and they put up with my talking. it takes me approx 45 min to get there from paso robles. will never go to anyone else

I highly recommend SLO Smiles for all your dental needs. I'm in from out of town unexpectedly, with serious tooth pain, and on a Saturday no less. They very kindly fit me in with no notice. Everyone I met from the front desk staff, to the dental assistants, to the dentist himself were extremely kind, caring, and very professional. They went above and beyond to help me and make sure I had follow up care in place. The office is very clean, comfortable, and as an anxious patient I found it calming. I couldn't have had a better experience with any dental office anywhere. I'm very grateful I found such a wondeful practice when I desperately needed one.

I feel like the level of care I receive from SLO SMILES is above and beyond. From the receptionists to the RDA’s to the Doctors themselves, these folks really care about the services they provide for their customers. Always am treated good and when the time comes that here is an uncomfortable feelin in my mouth, they are quick to adjust their level of care so there is less discomfort while a procedure is happening. I like how easy it is to get into this office, get your appt. done and over and move on. Great work Slo Smiles!

My wife and I drive 60 miles, round trip, to get pampered by SLO Smiles for all our dental needs. The staff couldn't be friendlier and the quality of work has been superb. The Dentists and staff are very considerate and provide state-of-the-art procedures and equipment for every dental problem. If you can get Dr. Nick Murphy you'll never want another dentist!

As always, it is a great experience to go to SLO Smiles. This office is truly a smooth running team endeavor, with each person extremely proficient in what they do. Everyone takes the time to explain procedures, answer any questions, and ALWAYS make sure of the patient's comfort. I love that SLO Smiles schedules appointments where they are always on time. They also schedule to your convenience. It is a very modern office with the newest of equipment. ALL of the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable of their positions. I have recommended SLO Smiles to several of my friends knowing they will get the best dental care. I had to have a filling replaced. I was asked to come in 1/2 hour early which was great for me. The technician was very pleasant as was Dr. Ian Leopold. I knew exactly what was going to happen, Dr. Leopold worked to ensure that the tooth was sufficiently deadened before proceeding and once started, he worked quickly and efficiently to replace the filling. Afterwards Dr. Leopold also worked to ensure that my bite would be perfect before releasing me. As usual, I'm very happy with the quality of work and professionalism I find at SLO SMILES.

I've been coming to this office for many, many years. They are absolutely the most compassionate group of people I have ever seen. I am a big sissy when it comes to the dentist. For a long time now, I don't get nervous or worry when my appointment is due. Tikki is my hygienist and is the best I have ever had. That's been my experience with all the staff!
