Very convenient, professional and knowledgeable staff and doctors, and I feel like my comfort is a priority.

I have been a patient here for over 30 years. I would not consider going any where else. Dr. Mark Leopold was my dentist for quite a while and now Dr. Ian Leopold is my. dentist. Both are outstanding. Teckie is my hygienist. She is the best ever! Anyone who needs dental work, this is the place to call.

Warm and friendly. Have been with Dr. Murphy for many years. It is interesting watching how much the technology has changed. I appreciate the quality of care coming from these folks.

Everyone who works there is a joy to meet and my hygienist Tackie is not only one of the funniest people I’ve ever met but also very thoughtful and professional too. SLO Smiles cares about quality. They talk about it - teaching more about brushing, flossing, other cleaning techniques, bacteria. And they try to give best practice. I want to keep my teeth. I feel they will help me with this.

I have been a patient of Dr. Murphy for about 16 years, for just about everything, broken teeth, need for crowns and composites, and simple cavities. Dr. Murphy is very, very professional while being sensitive, friendly, and easy to talk to. His staff is very helpful and knowledgeable with quick appointments and fully transparent billing. I am not a dentist, but a doctor myself, and I know the other side of the fence. What's that old saying, "This guy really knows his stuff...", that's Dr. Murphy. James

I love the staff at SLO Smiles. Everyone is friendly and competent, and they are always on time. I feel that when I have an issue regarding my dental health, the staff is attentive to my situation and addresses all of my concerns. They go out of their way to answer questions and obtain helpful information.

I started coming to this office a few years ago with much trepidation because my previous experiences with dentistry had produced in me an intense fear of pain. I always feared my regular hygiene appointments. But not at SLO Smiles!!! My hygienist Maria is a top-notch, highly-skilled, ultra-professional who has carefully listened to my concerns and cared for me so well that I am now able to relax throughout the entire visit. I no longer dread my visit to the dentist! Maria gets an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, I wish I could shout from a mountaintop about her dedication, thoroughness, and quality patient care. Dr Main is a gem as well, a highly skilled and true professional in every sense. i feel that I am really in good hands with him and that my well-being is his biggest concern. I have been in good hands at SLO Smiles for over 40 years. I cannot say enough about the wonderful Doctors and Staff that I have seen throughout the years. Everyone is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. When there are options for treatment, all possibilities are explained before decisions are made. I recently finished getting dental implants. The process was explained to me in detail before we began, and all questions were answered during the process. The experience was absolutely pain free, and I am thrilled with the look and feel of my "new" teeth. Just wish I had done it sooner! btw My husband and 2 grown children are also great fans of SLO Smiles.

Excellent! Dr. Main combines conversation and exam to address dental concern. By getting to know a patient's health and lifestyle, he gives a patient strategies, treatment if necessary, and most of all, confidence to partner in her or his own dental health.

I just got done with my crown removal and cavity filling, I can’t believe how easy and pain free the experience was. I am thrilled with Dr Murphy’s care. I was dreading this procedure thinking I would be numb for hours and my mouth sore, but instead I listened to classical music and did not have any pain whatsoever. I didn’t have to be numb except for topical. I can now go have lunch and enjoy my day. Thank you Dr Murphy for your kindness, being gentle, professionalism, and being so conscientious.

Thank you Dr. Main, Jamie and your entire staff for another exceptional visit to the dentist. While on vacation I experienced a severe toothache and had to return home. Dr. Main scheduled me the following day for what would be a lengthy procedure. I am so appreciative of the time and care that was taken by Dr. Main and Jamie. The same evening Dr. Main took the time to call me at home and check on me after my procedure, so very thoughtful. They are diligent and efficient in their work and I could not be any happier to recommend SLO Smiles to anyone.

SLO Smiles is a great name because the whole office and professional staff seems happy at their work. They are not only highly competent but they also educate their patients. They listen attentively to needs and are careful with patients' stress and pain issues. The lobby is beautiful, with pictures of soaring birds and scenes from nature. A lot of thought and in-depth training has gone into the dental practice of SLO Smiles. I actually look forward to going to the dentist!
