I had a very pleasant experience at Stat Care. The receptionist was welcoming and the doctor saw me and diagnosed me right away. By the time I walked over to my pharmacy, my antibiotic was there and I am feeling much better. I highly recommend Stat Care

WOW !! I was calling for an appointment, but had to hang up to deal with something before they even had a chance to answer. A little while later, THEY called ME, stating they noticed the missed call and asked how they could be of assistance. Most doctors' offices take hours or days to call you back, when you finally get through. This place is so together and efficient, they can even pay attention to a MISSED call. Both the Hicksville and Astoria offices are super clean, friendly, and efficient. (Be careful of alternate side parking in Astoria, but it was only 10 minutes to find a space). Doctors and ancillary personnel were courteous and thorough. They handled my appointment promptly, but the walk-in I saw come in, was soon in the back also. This is easier than my primary MD and miles ahead of an ER visit. I'll be headed to one of their offices if I need almost ANY medical care on short notice !!!

I went to urgent care with severe stomach pains. The physician was very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. The registration process was rather complicated and long for people that are seeking medical consultation. Having patients stand at a tablet to enter a rather long questionnaire was very uncomfortable. At a minimum, chairs should be provided at the registration tablet counter.

As far as walk in clinics go, this small borough Astoria establishment shines through with it's quick efficient checkin and checkout and friendly customer service. Waiting is par for the course in any walk in clinic and varies on any given day at any given hour. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the level of care, attention, and efficiency in which STAT runs. Owing LARGELY to the super bionic receptionist who wears 100 hats and can check you in and check you out, copy paper work, ask questions, show you to your exam room, change the waiting room seat covers and wish you well and hope you feel better at the end. Give that lady a raise! She runs the place almost single-handed. In addition, I was also very pleased with the doctor I visited. Professional, friendly and empathetic. The whole staff gets a super rating. Keep up the good work....
