All three doctors are fantastic to work with. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they enjoy working with their patients. They take the time to explain your child's treatment plan and answer all questions. In the 2 1/2 years my son received treatment he was always seen in a timely manner and the staff is always pleasant. I am so thrilled to see my son smile without being self-conscious. Thank you for helping us achieve this confident smile!

You accomplish all three! We are always greeted and treated so well when we walk in the door. there is always a seat and even a game available if you would like. So far 50% of my kids have completed care with beautiful smiles!! As long as they wear their retainers, they should have those smiles for the rest of their lives!

From our beginning consultation to removing the braces, we have received professional, high quality and personalized care. The staff have always been pleasant, helpful and accommodating. My children both feel very comfortable with the staff. Most importantly, the work they do results in beautiful, healthy teeth. We always recommend Erkis and Hickman when friends tell us they need an orthodontist.

The staff did a great job of working patiently with my son as he went through the process of getting and maintaining braces for 2.5 years. He was not an easy patient and the staff did a great job of helping him through the steps. We saw nothing but big smiles when the day arrived to take them off. We would highly recommend this team and staff for anyone needing braces.

Dr. Erkis and Dr. Hickman provided an amazing experience for both of my children. Not only did they make both of my children feel special by getting to know them, they made a point to ask about their school day and sporting events. It is the little things like this that truly make a big impact. As far as service goes, the staff was always friendly and tried very hard to schedule appointments around our crazy busy schedules and they never turned us down when we had an emergency. When it came time for the billing, they did everything that they could to make it easier for us to have two kids in braces at one time. I would have to say the highlight or my kids was seeing Dr. Erkis at Ohio State Women's basketball games. He was NEVER too busy to come say hello! Thanks for a great experience!

Our daughter had several issues and needed lengthy and complicated orthodontic treatment. We felt very confident that we were getting excellent and personalized care from all three orthodontists and that they all cared about our daughter and wanted only the best for her. All the staff and the kid-oriented atmosphere in the office made our daughter’s visits very comfortable and relaxing. The treats at the end of the visits were the icing on the cake. Because we endured such a long treatment, fitting all the visits into our schedule eventually began to wear on us. When we were making appointments, we sometimes had to go forward an extra one to two weeks in order to find a time and date that that worked for us. Unfortunately, this likely increased the total time our daughter had to wear her braces. Therefore, the one change to the practice we suggest is to increase flexibility for scheduling appointments, especially for patients whose treatment extends over several years. For example, adding Friday afternoon appointments might help. Perhaps offering appointment start times on 15-minute intervals would add flexibility. There were several instances throughout the years in which a 2:15, 2:45, 3:15, 3:45 or 4:15 appointment time would have worked wonders for our family’s schedule. Overall, though, the treatment was very professional and highly effective. We will miss seeing all of you regularly, as you have become a part of our family. We chose the right orthodontists! Wonderful experiences. We were unsure of what our experience would be. Very professional and friendly staff. Explained each step as we proceeded and ensured that we (parent and child) were comfortable. Even being a patient/client for 3 years the quality and level of service never changed. And now my son has a beautiful smile. I highly recommend!

I never had braces as a child so I was apprehensive to having them as an adult. But from the start the entire staff made me feel at ease. Not only are they professional and friendly but after 15 months I've learned so much about them personally. The doctors are top notch and you can tell that everyone loves their job. It's no wonder when people asked me who I was going to and I told them Dr. Erkis and Hickman they knew they were. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The experience we had at doctor erkis' practice has been outstanding.It starts at the reception desk were all the lady's are very friendly and helpfull. The orodontic assistant staff are experienced and were very patient and kind with my daughters. I can see that doctor Erkis has passed on his extremely kind and gentile nature on to all of his fellow doctors and staff. I would recommend any one needing orthodontic care to vist this office and see the great care they would recieve here.

I was referred to Dr Erkis by my dentist, who had been a patient of Dr Erkis herself. I went to Erkis & Hickman for a little over 3 years. I was consistently impressed by both the friendliness & the professionalism I observed at their office. I experienced 2 pregnancies during my treatment, and they always did their utmost to accommodate anything I needed during an appointment. I saw all three orthodontists (Dr Erkis, Dr Hickman, & Dr. Crawford) during my time there, and loved every single one of them. I would absolutely recommend this office & staff to anyone searching for an excellent, reputable orthodontist.

What a journey it has been! My daughter, Taylor, first came to this practice as a very young 7 year old. She was scared, nervous and not sure she wanted all the strange metal in her mouth! Dr Erkis and Dr Hickman were so kind and gentle with her, as well as every tech that worked on her. There were a lot of tears at first, not from pain but just from being scared and so young! 6 years later and two sets of braces and her smile is beautiful! We cannot thank you all enough for taking care of Taylor and giving her those beautiful straight teeth!!!! And a special thanks to Dr Crawford, who came along later and gave the final ok for the braces to come off!! We appreciate your help as well!! And I cannot forget to thank Michelle at the front who has become family to us!!! She is such a beautiful soul!! We will miss seeing you all, but Taylor will not miss the braces!!! Thanks again!!

This is my third set of braves completed with Dr. Erkis. I had them, and 2 of my children had them. I'm working on my fourth set with my third child. I would recommend this office to everyone! The staff is friendly, it's clean, and they are always putting the patients first. It's been about 7 years we've been with this office and most of the staff is still the same with some additions. It seems like no one leaves, which is awesome for building relationships! Best ortho in town! !
