My experience here at the New York Auto School has been great so far! Payment, scheduling & site convenient to access (via public transportation) has all been made very seamless and straightforward. When scheduling my my 5-hr class at the White Plains location (close to Metro-North station) and everyone was very calm and helpful around working with my schedule. While in attendance at the class, the instructor spoke clearly & was friendly— not making the class a nightmare to be in (as these types of classes are given bad reputation to be boring & the instructors to be unpleasant). Prior to the class, I got reminder emails and texts with the location and time so I could plan my trip accordingly. Being a new soon-to-be driver as an NYC resident, I can appreciate anything that saves me time & hassle. I appreciate it even more so when it’s done with compassion. Looking forward to my driving lessons in January. Thank you NYAS!!

The quality of the training was good and well explained. The instructor came to my house in good time and I used his car so it was super convenient. I passed.

Robin’s patience and clear instructions make me feel calm behind the wheel as I am learning. In addition to letting me know when I do something incorrectly, she acknowledges when I am doing something well. She is a great instructor.

It all worked very well. The driving instructor was punctually waiting for me at the train station and we started the driving class immediately. He was relaxed and pointed to me in a constructive manner all the mistakes I made, including those more "bad habit" than mistakes. The lesson was very useful to refresh my driving skills, and I passed the test. Thank you.

Every thing is perfect for me! Actually I was not expecting such a hospitality for the driver school, however Mario-san was super friendly and very kind but not too pushy. He was serving me as a kind of Japanese Omotenashi, very courtesy style. He really precisely advised how to pass the test, and it actually worked quite well. Of course 5-hour course was also fantastic and very informative to me. I have already recommended NYAS to my colleague. For me NYAS was the best chaise. Thank you so much!
