The New York Auto School not only prepares people to pass the driving test but truly teaches them the ways in the road and instills confidence in their driving ability. Their training helped me become such a good driver that I passed on the first try. My driving instructor was always on time and willing to work around my schedule. Most importantly I felt comfortable with my driving instructor. I wholeheartedly recommend this driving school.

The location was incredibly convenient and the class started ontime and even finished an hour early. The instructor incorporated a lot of personal experiences and stories that were applicable, even humorous or scary at times, and it certainly made the class a little more interesting. He wasted no time with the "fluff" - he told us what we needed to know and was ready to answer any and all questions. I used this same school and location two years ago for the same class but had to retake because my certificate expired and even the second time around it was *almost* enjoyable.

My experience at this school was outstanding . I was a very nervous late 30’s beginner when I started . Now I have my license and feel very comfortable on the road. Everyone at this school is great . Aly the receptionist was so helpful with fitting me into the schedule on such short notice . She is so delightful. I had three driving instructors and all three were great. Joe is very calm and focused. He is great for the day of the road test. He eased all my nerves. A true pro. Helen is the best .. I felt like I was learning from a girlfriend. She taught me how to park nice and easily. I enjoyed our lessons. Then I had Robin who was just wonderful. She is supper calm and taught me how to drive at night . With her I also felt like I was driving with someone I’ve known for years. They were all so very encouraging and supportive and it was greatly appreciated ... I would recommend this school to everyone . The entire process was so smooth and very fast.

It was an excellent experience from the time I set up the appointment to the completion of the class. The individual you set up my appointment was informative and accommodating. The instructor was engaging and informative. The class was very well done. My interaction with both individuals was a blessing.

The instructor Richard was amazing and could keep us all interested for the whole duration of the course. His breadth of knowledge and experience was so good! I highly recommend his prelicensing lessons to anyone - new or experienced drivers.

The quality of the course was good, all of my questions were answered almost entirely and, the course was only five hours long. I enjoyed learning all of the precautions accurately. I feel very confident in my driving skills now and I am ready to go take the road test .

Mario was awesome! He broke down what I needed to know for the test, stayed calm when I made mistakes, and gave great, systematic advice for how to drive better. A+!

The instructor was very professional but funny at the same time so the class was not heavy as I expected it to be. We learnt what we had to without getting bored.

All of your instructors were excellent. There was not one that my daughter Mary felt uncomfortable with. They instructed her well and because of this she went to the road test feeling confident. Thank you so much!

I took 2 classes and a road test. Experienced instructor that identified my driving problems and helped in fixing them Easily accessed from the city and the instructor provided pick up and drop off at the train station. Overall, I had a great experience with N.Y. autoschool and I passed the road test..

I had the pleasure of having Mr. J Griffith (aka Joe), help me with my driving lessons, and practicing for the road test. He is so patient, considerate, and took his time focusing on problem areas for me. I was afraid to even try driving, and am so thankful to have had this experience with the New York Auto School, and am lucky to have had Joe help me with this journey. I cannot thank him and the NYAS enough!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you will not regret it and definitely suggest requesting Joe as your instructor.

Well my instructor was Helen Dillion She was great very patience with me. Super encouraging. She made my first time very easy. I am glad I got her..she is so great I even asked to be scheduled with her this following weekend. Thank you
