I have great anxiety when it comes to going to a dentist. I can honestly say Dr Iqbal was awesome. He was very gentle, quick and explained what he was doing and what I should feel. This was by far the easiest appointment I have experienced.

I was a little nervous about getting a root canal, but even in my initial consultation, Dr Yip reassured me that it was not as bad as I first thought. Dr Yip and his assistant were both very professional and had a way of putting you at ease. The day of the procedure went smoothly too. After being numbed up, I was ready to go. The procedure went very smoothly. The only minor pain I felt was the one shot in the roof of the mouth. More pressure than pain, though. Other than that, NO PAIN. I was also able to watch the procedure through the lens of Dr Yip's microscope, seeing both the mirror view and the actual view. It was very interesting to read beforehand about the procedure and to see what was actually taking place. It may not be the desire of some but I found it fascinating, especially since there was no pain involved. My hats off to the entire team at North Carolina Endodontics. When I was driving home, I recommended them to a friend who has to get a root canal. I was that impressed!!

I am grateful that I was referred to NC Endodontics. The experience was as pleasant as it could be for a root canal. The staff that I interacted with was extremely helpful and helped ease my mind. Dr Tumare Iqbal is exceptional and I felt very comfortable with his skill. I have not always had the best experiences with dentists, so it was great to have such a positive experience. I will always recommend this office to anyone (hopefully not me ;))in the future.

North Carolina Endodontics and Dr. Yip provided me with excellent care and compassionate service. Dr. Yip performed a root canal on me in Feb 2025, and it was a very smooth procedure. I was also impressed with the office staff, treatment rooms and equipment. However, I had some pain in that same tooth in Nov 2025 and Dr. Yip found a small infection at the bottom of the root. Since it was a relatively short time since the original root canal, he performed another (no charge) and left medication in the tooth. There was one last visit (no charge) to clean out that medication and close up the tooth permanently. Thank you for the outstanding care.

I was really apprehensive about this procedure. And my experience was fantastic. Extremely professional but caring. No pain- my major worry. One slight and very very brief episode of minor discomfort. I received a call the next day checking how I was- which I’m glad to say I can’t tell I’ve had anything done. Will gladly recommend this practice.
