This was my first root canal. Dr. Yip and his assistant, Clarence Salazar-Loftin were fantastic! I can't say enough about Clarence Salazar-Liftin. I'm always hesitant when I visit a dental office, only because I have such a gag reflex. She was so patient and working together, we got through all the x-rays. She is such an asset to this amazing office. From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, the doctor and staff were great! I would recommend North Carolina Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal. Thank you Dr. YIP and CLarence!

It was a great experience known my Dr. Iqbal. I have had a molar tooth root canal done and it was handle very professional skilfully by Dr.Iqbal. I have also recommended my friend Abhay who also got his molar tooth root canal done at his clinic.

Dr Yip and his assistant were both very gentle and very efficient at doing my root canal. My experience was great. I wish I could remember his assistant’s name to commend her on her caring manner! Please pass along my compliments. (When I was getting the numbing injections her gently touching my arm worked wonders at calming me.)

Obviously, I was scared. I’ve never had a root canal, so I was very nervous and had never met any of the staff. I was pleasantly surprised at how kind everyone was really great bedside manner great at explaining what was going to happen. Just super super calming effect . That made a world of difference. Not to mention excellent work.

Amazing and efficient experience - felt really well attended to by both Leajan and Dr. Yip. Lejan did a fantastic job welcoming me and helping me through the whole root canal. Dr T . Iqbal is an excellent Dr , he is kind and explains throughly what has to be done. I must say everyone in the office is helpful and couldn’t be nicer . I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I was refferred to Dr. Tumare Iqbal from my dentist to perform a root canal on one of my older metal capped molars. I have had a few Endodontists do extensive work on my teeth in the past fifty years to save my original teeth so I am very fimiliar with the procedure. When I arrived the office staff was very friendly and efficient for my consult visit. After a short wait I was taken in and Dr. Iqbal arrived to look at my teeth and the previous x-ray of my molar. He explained fully the root canal options which depended on what he would find internally once my capped tooth was opened. Worse case for me personally would be if the tooth was cracked internally and I would have to have it pulled. I agreed to go ahead and set a appointment a week later. I do not have dental insurance so the office staff gave me a complete upfront written estimate for all the different possible work outcomes so I would know what it would actually cost. My arrival for the actual procedure was handled very professionally by the dental Technician who made sure I was comfortable as she prepared me for Dr. Iqbal. He arrived shortly and asked if I was at ease and ready as he went over what he was going to do. The anesthetic was applied and within a short time he began working to remove my cap and do the root canal work. It was a totally painless procedure. Once compleated he fully refilled my tooth and then replaced and realigned my original metal cap perfectly. The procedure from end to end took a little over one hour. I would totally recommend Dr. Iqbal to anyone and whould not hesitate going back for any future work to save any of my original teeth.

Was referred to Dr. Iqbal for a problem tooth. Registration paperwork and check-in was fast and easy. There was not a long wait for an appointment. Although he thought a root canal was needed, Dr. Iqbal worked with me to find another possible solution. A root canal was ultimately needed, but I was allowed to schedule it without pressure or additional stress. Dr. Iqbal has a fabulous, calming bedside manner (with a great laugh, by the way) when discussing the condition and treatment, but is all-business when the procedure is underway. His seriousness instilled confidence. The actual procedures were quick and pain-free. I only experienced minimal soreness afterward, as per usual. I also noticed how Dr. Iqbal spoke respectfully to his staff, even the assistant still in training who helped during my 2nd procedure and needed a little more guidance. (I was asked in advance to approve her attendance. There was another experienced assistant in the room as well.) Everyone was efficient and kind to me at the practice. The impressive microscopic binoculars and other medical equipment appeared modern, further instilling confidence for a thorough, less painful procedure. I received a check-up call after the visit, and I always felt as if I could call the practice if needed. Of course, the hope is to not need extensive dental work in the future, but should another problem arise, I would definitely schedule with Dr. Iqbal again.

I could not be more pleased with the experience at North Carolina Endodontics. Dr. Nathan Yip was great and the procedure was a bit more complex as I had a crown on the tooth where the root canal was performed. Well done Dr. Yip! Best Regards, Scott Amling

During my visit I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff. The Endodontist, Iqbal had a great sense of humor. I am not a fan of injection, however, his sense of humor allowed my to deal with my anxiety. I definitely would recommend NC Endodontics to my colleagues, friends and family.
