Everyone at NC Endodontics has been friendly, kind and accommodating. Dr.Tumare Iqbal is very gentle, cheerful and patient; he also takes time to answer any and all questions in a very clear fashion. He was most concerned with my welfare and it was obvious that my patient chart had been read beforehand carefully. All in all, NC Endodontics is a place where everyone seems intent on achieving the best possible outcome for the patient. I was scheduled and seen very quickly and promptly, and my fears were immediately allayed. A very professional, yet patient friendly place I would definitely recommend!

I was referred to NC Endodontics by Village Dental. Village Dental is large dental practice which I have been going to for five years so I did not do any research into NC Endodontics. I made an appointment with NC End and was very favorably impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. Dr. Yup who was very impressive got to the root of my problem quickly. He did a root canal and I did not feel anything. He will do another procedure in a few weeks on another tooth. His office was very clean and sparkling and I mentioned that to him. I am 80 years old and have had a lot of dental work done in my lifetime including root canals, implants,and surgical procedures. I strongly recommend his practice.

I cannot speak highly enough about this office, especially the work of Dr. Yip and his assistant Monica. I was extremely nervous going into this appointment, as I had never experienced a root canal and rarely had any other kind of dental work in my life. I didn’t know quite what to expect, but Monica was so kind and personable and immediately put me at ease from the moment I sat in the chair. I really enjoyed talking to her and it felt like I was hanging out with a good friend! Dr. Yip had the best bedside manner and made me feel so relaxed from the beginning. He calmly walked me through it and was so encouraging throughout the procedure. He was very gentle and I felt no pain at all. Dr. Yup was also very knowledgeable and worked with precision. I’m beyond thankful I went to an experienced endodontist, rather than a dentist to get this done. It was worth every extra penny knowing that my tooth had the best chance to be saved and that the likelihood of lifetime success was high. Although I have unique oral anatomy, Dr. Yip was able to successfully perform the root canal and I experienced no complications. They made everything seem simple, even though I know this is a complex procedure that requires extensive training and expertise. I highly recommend Dr. Yip’s work, Monica’s assistance, as well as the entire office staff. They are all fantastic! I am so thankful I was referred to North Carolina Endodontics.

For having to have a root canal I had a great experience. Dr Yip was amazing and it all went faster than I expected. After the novocaine wore off I was so pleased that I had no pain. Monica (I know that’s not how she spells it) was right on top of things and it was a pleasure to have her assisting Dr Yip. The office staff were friendly and helpful.

This is my second procedure with Dr. Yip, as with the first it was successful, and painless. Not only is he a very skilled Endodontist, he is kind, patient and very considerate of special needs. I am very grateful for the staff at NC Edodontics, they are professional, considerate and accommodating. I was very nervous to come here with the knowing that I would most likely receive a root canal. After meeting Dr. T.Iqbal I found him to be genuine, caring, and honest. He also brought humor into the room which made me laugh alot. His entire office, and assistant in the room were great. Definately seek him out if you are in need of any services . Oh, and one day we might meet by chance for ice cream!

I recently saw Dr Yip for a root canal. The office staff was highly professional. The dental staff and Dr Yip were great - telling me everything they were doing and made sure I was ok through a difficult and sometimes uncomfortable procedure. I got a call the day after the procedure inquiring if I was ok. I appreciated the call. My dentist recommended NC Endodontics and I will tell him how pleased I am.

No one WANTS to get a root canal. However, I found this practice and the providers to be exceptional. The were able to schedule me in quickly, were ready for me at my scheduled time, and made the procedure as painless as possible. The doctor and hygienist were friendly and professional, as was the front desk staff. They even followed up the next day to see how I was doing!

Tuesday I had a toothache. An unplanned dentist appointment on Wednesday found nothing. Thursday I made a cold call around 11:00 AM to North Carolina Endodontics. I was in the chair at 11:45. Dr. Yips diagnosed the problem and started a root canal at noon. At 1:00 I was on my way home, and in a lot less pain. Within two hours of making a call I was essentially cured. I am delighted and relieve at the results. I owe a lot of thanks to the endodontist.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share the experience I had with North Carolina Endodontics today. First, they called to see if I could come in earlier than my appointment time. That worked out great for me. When I arrived, the receptionist was welcoming and very friendly. Dr. Iqbal and his assistant, Monica, were amazing! They both communicated everything they were going to do and continued to communicate with me during the entire procedure. They made me feel very comfortable from the time I entered the room until the time I left the office...imagine that...feeling comfortable while getting a root canal!! Not once did I feel any pain. They did a fantastic job and took great care of me. Dr. Iqbal and Monica were personable and were the ultimate professionals! I just wish that I could go to them for all of my dental needs. I was very nervous about getting my first root canal. Dr. Yip and the entire staff made me feel very comfortable. The procedure was not as bad as I expected. I had minimal pain that evening but no pain the next day. I highly recommend this office and will return if I ever need another one. Thank you!

On July 3, 2023 I had an appointment for a root canal. I was a little nervous about having it done. Once I got there I was greeted by the ladies at the front desk.They made sure I got checked in and were very professional. After a short period of time I was called to get setup for my root canal.The assistant explained everything that she was doing, which made me feel very comfortable and relax.I must say everything went quite smoothly. I did my two root canals here. I am very happy with the treatment provided by Dr. Iqbal. This is 2 weeks after my root canal and i don't have any issues.During the time of my root canal Dr.Iqbal made me feel very comfortable and he was very careful and gentle with me. This was my first root canal. Dr. Yip and his assistant, Clarence Salazar-Loftin were fantastic! I can't say enough about Clarence Salazar-Liftin. I'm always hesitant when I visit a dental office, only because I have such a gag reflex. She was so patient and working together, we got through all the x-rays. She is such an asset to this amazing office. From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, the doctor and staff were great! I would recommend North Carolina Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal. Thank you Dr. YIP and CLarence!

Obviously, I was scared. I’ve never had a root canal, so I was very nervous and had never met any of the staff. I was pleasantly surprised at how kind everyone was really great bedside manner great at explaining what was going to happen. Just super super calming effect . That made a world of difference. I was referred by my dentist for a root canal. The experience with office and clinical staff was amazing - professional, thorough and considerate. From the evaluation to the procedure, I was constantly checked on, kept comfortable, and they expertly completed the procedure. I was referred to NC Endodontics for root canal care. I visited both the Chapel Hill and Raleigh offices. I did not have to wait long before being taken into the exam rooms. All staff was kind and thoughtful. Dr. Yip did the surgery on my tooth. He was gentle and concerned about me. Given it was root canal surgery my experience with NC Endodontics could not have been better.

I have always been a little nervous about going to a dentist. My regular dentist referred me to NC Endodontics. They were great about scheduling an appointment that fit my schedule, and then sent a reminder, which is very helpful. After my initial exam with Dr. T. I was so much more at ease about the whole process. Dr. T has a great personality, didn't ever seem rushed and did a great job. He and his nurse did everything they could to keep me at ease. All of the staff compliments the office atmosphere. My root canal was done yesterday, have not had the first sign of pain or swelling. Dr. T was very gentle and his nurse was with me the whole time, even when they were waiting for me to get numb. I still have another root canal to have done in near future, and my Doctor of choice is Dr. Iqbal. Each staff member I came in contact with was AWESOME.

I was refferred to Dr. Tumare Iqbal from my dentist to perform a root canal on one of my older metal capped molars. I have had a few Endodontists do extensive work on my teeth in the past fifty years to save my original teeth so I am very fimiliar with the procedure. When I arrived the office staff was very friendly and efficient for my consult visit. After a short wait I was taken in and Dr. Iqbal arrived to look at my teeth and the previous x-ray of my molar. He explained fully the root canal options which depended on what he would find internally once my capped tooth was opened. Worse case for me personally would be if the tooth was cracked internally and I would have to have it pulled. I agreed to go ahead and set a appointment a week later. I do not have dental insurance so the office staff gave me a complete upfront written estimate for all the different possible work outcomes so I would know what it would actually cost. My arrival for the actual procedure was handled very professionally by the dental Technician who made sure I was comfortable as she prepared me for Dr. Iqbal. He arrived shortly and asked if I was at ease and ready as he went over what he was going to do. The anesthetic was applied and within a short time he began working to remove my cap and do the root canal work. It was a totally painless procedure. Once compleated he fully refilled my tooth and then replaced and realigned my original metal cap perfectly. The procedure from end to end took a little over one hour. I would totally recommend Dr. Iqbal to anyone and whould not hesitate going back for any future work to save any of my original teeth.
