I went to see Dr. Grin because I had a very loud popping jaw, turns out my TMJ was showing signs of arthritis. Working with Dr. Grin on orthotic splint and PRP injection treatment, the popping went away and we even saw some healing. As with all TMJ treatment your mileage and costs will vary but there is no doubt that Dr. Grin is an expert in the field and will use his knowledge and experience to help you the best he can. Now if only more insurance companies would take TMJ issues more seriously...

Dr Grin and staff are excellent! I spent months getting bounced around my HMO network trying to find a specialist that could help with my extreme jaw pain. No one was able to even provide a suitable diagnosis. Someone recommended I try Dr Grin and I'm very glad I did! He and his staff were extremely helpful and friendly. After one look at my imaging, he was able to patiently explain some detailed information on my condition no one else had been able to identify. Although my condition is serious and degenerative, he recommended a simple, non-surgical treatment that has me basically pain free after 6 months. I highly recommend!

After going to other doctors for my TMJ pain, I found Dr. Paul Grin. He and his staff are wonderful! It's old school medicine at its best. They take their time with me, never in a rush. They answer all my questions. Most importanly after months of pain and failed treatments, they diagnosed the problem and prescribed a treatment that is working very well. My husband is a retired dentist, so his standards are very high. I would highly recommend this office to anyone with facial pain.

The staff is exceptional and very caring…I love them all too! I always get all of my questions answered. All of my appointments have been on time…..never a wait. Extremely professional. Dr. Grin is an absolute delight! I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea recently after years of having terrible sleep and having it majorly impact my day-to-day. I didn't want to get a C-PAP machine and went to Dr. Grin for relief. He fitted me with a mouth appliance that is incredibly easy to use and it has had a noticeable impact on my ability to sleep properly and feel better the next day. It is still a work in progress, as I'm still in the early days of using the appliance, but I'm incredibly thankful to Dr. Grin for his work and his help in getting me better sleep. Thank you!

When Dr Grin was presented with my complicated case he treated me with a calm measured approach. At all times he was reassuring and methodical. Dr. Grin is amazing. Luckily a good friend suggested I see him when I told her I was having difficulty chewing and opening my mouth. The care I receive from Doctor Grin is excellent. He is professional and an expert in his field. He is compassionate , listens to my concerns, and provided a treatment plan that is addressing my diagnosis. His office is very clear about insurance coverage and state any costs not covered by Medicare upfront. There are no surprises. Appointments are always on time and his staff is not only efficient but kind and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Grin.

My mother was experiencing excruciating facial pain, after taking her to several different specialists we were finally referred to Dr. Grin. Right away we were treated like family by all in the office. At the initial exam Dr. Grin diagnosed her with trigeminal neuralgia and prescribed the right medication right away to alleviate the pain! He has been successfully managing her pain for over a year now, we could not be happier.

Life changing! Dr. Grin has greatly improved my health, and my husband is finally getting decent sleep, after putting up with my snoring for decades. I initially came in for help with teeth grinding, did a sleep study (super easy- more on this later) and discovered I had "severe" sleep apnea. I stopped breathing for 10 seconds or more, 37 times an hour! I had no idea! I just knew that I woke my husband up with my snoring and teeth grinding. After receiving the oral appliance (imagine an upper and lower retainer that are attached- the idea is to gently move your lower jaw forward while sleeping) my snoring stopped completely! NO MORE SNORING!!! None!!! I went from "severe" sleep apnea- breathing stopping 34 times per hour- to 4 times an hour. The device is easy to use, not painful, small- so it's easy to travel with it, and doesn't make any noise. It's so simple. It truly is going to put an end to the annoying C-pap. It's a miracle device. The sleep study is super easy: it's done from your own home; the set up is simple- just a small, lightweight monitor around the chest, another around the belly button, a little oxygen tube under the nose, and a monitor around the pointer finger. Just push a button, and it's on. When you wake up, just take everything off. Not at all complicated. And Dr. Grin's assistants will go through everything with you, and make sure you understand and are comfortable. There's truly no reason not to give Dr. Grin a try. He's experienced, professional, and kind. The office staff is welcoming, they run it efficiently, and there's never a wait. The sleep study is done from your own home. The device will change your life, your health, and the quality of sleep for the person you share a bed with. These are truly good people who know what they're doing. Let them help you. I'm absolutely stunned by the improvement, and how simple it was.

Dr. Eric Grin and his staff are the most professional and caring medical staff I have encountered in many years. I was unaware of the kinds of services they provide. They worked with me to help with a very painful episode when my Jaw (due to my TMJ), popped out of place and would not get back in place for nearly a year. They advised me to get a mouthguard that was made especially for me. It is a shame that the services they provide are not well known and that Insurance companies do not cover some of these essential services, which help cure people who suffer from facial pain, headaches, and sleep issues. I am forever grateful for their interventions and procedures.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Grin and his practice. It is rare to encounter such compassionate care. Dr. Grin listened carefully, conducted thorough tests, and provided successful treatment for an issue I had struggled with for years — and that other experts had told me could not be fixed. Dr Grin and his entire staff are professional and so genuine in their caring service. Smiles, greetings and the perfect amount of detailed information was followed by state of the art scanning and mold impressioning to assist in alleviating my TMJ condition. My experience with the doctor was excellent. The personnel are very helpful as well. The waiting room is quite relaxing. Really sets the mood prior to see the doctor. three visits a couple of prescriptions and a mouthguard. I’m good to go.

Very friendly staff and the Doctor has plenty of experience with TMJ issues. The office is nice and looks up to date. Parking for the office building is easy and they have a big lot. I was having a hard time finding a TMJ specialist, but luckily I found Dr. Grin.

Dr. Paul Grin is an amazing doctor! We were referred to him by my son’s dentist because he heard clicking coming from my son’s jaw and then one day his jaw locked up. Dr. Grin found out that my son has arthritis in his jaw. My son was extremely anxious after the diagnosis, however Dr. Grin put all of our anxieties to rest. He explained everything so thoroughly and addressed all of our questions and concerns. We’ve never felt rushed during any of my son’s appointments and the care and treatment that my son has received has significantly improved his condition. Dr Grin's PRP procedure cured my TMJ and got me out of pain. I have had PRP injections several times before in my knees and shoulder. They had no real noticeable effect. The PRP procedure at Dr Grin's office was different. My bite returned to normal in the following few days. And my pain was gone. I had a subsequent CT scan a year after the procedure, and there was noticeable regrowth of the tissue. I was honestly surprised and didn't expect much from the procedure. More people should know about this treatment option, as it absolutely worked for me. Dr Grin and his entire staff have always been extremely professional and courteous. My entire experience with them has been nothing but positive.

This office was a game changer. I was being bounced around from doctor to doctor and was having difficulty getting an appropriate diagnosis, for over a year, before I met Dr. Paul Grin. His intake process was very thorough and my concerns were taken seriously. The staff and medical team treated me with respect and the overall level of care has been astounding. I actually saw Eric Grin DDS, the son of Paul Grin and part of the practice. I was very impressed with his knowledge of TMJ issues and the very thorough examination and interview regarding my pain and my overall health. He listened to me and took everything into account. He recommended a CT scan which they were able to do right in the office. They warned me that my medical insurance might not pay for it, but it turns out insurance covered half of it. The result was that I actually have arthritis in my jaw joint, something difficult to diagnose without a scan. He gave me medication to reduce the inflammation of the arthritis and muscle relaxer for the tense jaw. It worked really well to almost eliminate the pain. I also paid out of pocket (submitted to insurance, so maybe they will cover part??) for expensive oral appliances to adjust the position of my bite to reduce pressure on my arthritic joint. Hopefully that will prevent the pain from coming back. Arthritis is not curable but at least now I can eat, and I will see how the long term solution (mouth guards) works to minimize pain going forward. Very pleased with the depth of knowledge and caring approach of Eric Grin. The staff is also outstanding!! Polite, friendly and efficient. Makes the whole experience actually pleasant!

Dr. Grin and his office has been so helpful! They have helped with all aspects of my TMJ and his front office are always so kind and helpful with insurance!
