Dr. Grin is amazing. I was referred to him last year for intermittent "electrical shock" type pain. A thorough interview was done followed by CT scan and MRI. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. I was prescribed Carbamezaphine which has been effective in blocking the intense pain episodes. I was also diagnosed with arthritis in my jaw which can cause more of a dull pain. I have extreme confidence in Dr. Grin's abilities. After doing my own research I saw so much about how this is the "suicide" disease due to the intensity of pain. Dr. Grin is always available to discuss my concerns and has eased my fears about the progression of this disease. Although he stressed everyone is different and their are no guarantees about what the future might hold for me, I know I have a highly qualified and knowledgeable professional in this journey.

Dr Grin has been so instrumental in me getting my TN under control. I went to his office due to all the wonderful 5 star reviews and I see now how warranted they are. They also got me in to see him right away to get my pain under control. His office is very professional and well run and they are always on time. Dr Grin is very knowledgeable, has a kind demeanor and really listens to you and will give you the plan of care that works best for you. You won’t regret going here to see Dr. Grin and his team.

I have chronical TMJ issues, and constantly suffering from tight temporal muscle, stuffed ear, and facial discomfort. Dr Grin carefully checked my problem, made me a splitter to guard again grinding teeth at night, and guided my through some simple exercise and heat pad therapy. My situation is getter a lot better. Such a wonderful place as they work with you to help you heal rather than putting a band aid on the problem. It's been only a few short months and after seeing Dr G and his staff I am almost pain free. I always look forward to a visit to them and highly reccomend a visit if you're looking for help once and for all.

I came to Dr. Grin with terrible jaw, head and face pain. Before seeing him I had gone to see ENTs, my primary care doctor and my dentist. After lots of tests and medications that didn’t solve the problem I was referred to Dr Grin and am so happy I was! He quickly identified that I had TMJ and arthritis of both jaw joints and put me on a protocol that works. I am so grateful to Dr. Grin and his team. Dr. Grin is not only clinically very skilled but his bedside manner and gentle way is very comforting and I feel confident and at ease under his care. I was referred to Dr. Grin by my dentist after I began having worsening TMJ pain. The front staff and his assistant were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get a CT scan in the office and had impressions done to make an appliance for me to wear at night. While I was waiting for the appliance to be made Dr. Grin gave me suggestions on how to ease my pain and what foods to eat/avoid. Dr. Grin throughly explained each step and made sure all of my questions were answered, I never felt rushed. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Grin and his staff.

Dr. Paul Grin, Dr. Eric Grin and the office staff provided professional and caring service to me during my appointments. The attentiveness to my concerns about my health, and their responses have been top notch. All of my appointments have been 'on time' and without interruption. The support staff also submitted the professional service fees and appliance costs promptly to the insurance carrier. I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I was referred to Dr. Paul Grin from my dentist since I had jaw pain for a while & it was not getting any better. The staff is very friendly and on top of everything, and Dr Grin was always on time & never late. He was excellent in making sure I was ok every step. He would explain everything in detail and made sure I understood the process. He did not force me to do anything I was not comfortable with. Dr Grin and his staff are very professional. My long term untreated TMJ / arthritis in my jaw has cause my jaw to be out of line and Dr Grin has created a mouth guard that I wear at night that has helped tremendously and is helping to get my jaw back back in line.

I've been a patient of Dr. Grin's for several years. I started seeing him with jaw pain and was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the jaw. He was able to help me manage the pain with an oral appliance, easy exercises, and moist heat for many years. Last year, my jaw pain returned and a CAT-scan showed that my OA had progressed. I opted to try to the PRP (platelet-rich plasma) which was outpatient in Dr. Grin's office. While it was pricey and was not covered by insurance, I had great success with it. Nine months after the procedure, my most recent CAT scan showed that the OA progression had stopped. The bone had stabilized and is not causing me any issues. Dr. Grin is very kind and patient. He spends time explaining procedures and diagnoses. I highly recommend seeing him for jaw issues.

Dr. Grin and his staff are sincerely pleasant and helpful. His staff fully explained all the paperwork procedures and Dr. Grin took the time to explain every step of what he was going to do and what I could expect as a result of the procedure. The whole experience was a pleasure, which is an odd thing to say about dental procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Grin and his practice.

My chronic jaw clicking was completely cured by Dr. Grin, as soon as he completed his diagnosis and provided me with my night guard. Dr. Grin was thorough and clearly concerned that I got the best treatment.

I was suffering from TMJ for a year before I booked my appt w/ Dr Grin. I could barely chew any food on my left side and was easily exhausted from eating meat or nuts because of the jaw pain. When I arrived for my initial appt with Dr Grin, I was blown away by how much he KNEW ABOUT ME! He had studied my extensive paperwork and was organized and efficient during the session. He provided answers and took xrays which revealed that I had extensive arthritis of my left jaw. He then made me a mouth guard and provided me a small dose of a safe muscle relaxer. Within one month of use, my jaw pain went from an 8 down to a 4 and steadily improved with using the mouth guard. I returned after 3 months for a review and am happy to report that my pain is now gone!!! I am so grateful to this wonderful doctor and his kind and efficient staff. If you have TMJ, I highly recommend you make an appt with Dr Grin. My investment in his expertise has paid off in peace of mind and a pain free life!

Dr. Grin was a delight to work with from the very start. He understood my pain and took all of the necessary steps to help resolve my issues. Dr. Grin is an expert who truly understood my issues from the start- and clearly explained why I was having such bad pain. He is also always available to answer questions. Great experience. The staff at the front desk are incredibly responsive and helpful. The wait time is never more than a couple minutes which is very rare and very appreciated these days. Great doctor and friendly staff as well. They've all been helpful with the process of dealing with my tmj. Dr. Paul Grin didn't brush off my symptoms like most doctors I've seen prior, and gives detailed yet understandable explanation to what was occurring with my joints along with what the steps I should take to finding a bit more relief in my day to day, and any questions I've had. I am soo grateful to Doctor Paul Grin, and his kind staff, he took very good care of the pain that I had in my right jaw. I could not even open my mouth, not eat well, because of the horrible pain when I tried to open my mouth. I will recommend going to see him if you have any problem with a painful jaw. Dr. Eric Grin is Dr. Paul Grin's son and they share a practice in Torrance that specializes in TMJ issues. I've faced TMJ problems for 30 years and know that anyone who has difficulty with that joint must find the best doctor to help them. Two and a half years ago I had osteoarthritis in that joint. It was so severe that my lower jaw had shifted to the right and I was unable to chew. It required surgery. Dr. Grin has helped me through a long and difficult recovery. He's been kind and impressive in his competence and attention to detail. It's such a comforting feeling to know that I'm dealing with a person who takes pride in his craft and doesn't "sign off" on his work until he's certain it's done right. One of the best doctors of any specialty I've ever met.
