I have been working with Dr. Grin for over 3 years based on a recommendation from my then dentist--he is well known by many neurologists and dentists in the South Bay. He was able to properly diagnose my TMJ and put me on a plan to help alleviate my pain after many conversations with dentists and doctors. Recently, after a few visits to the ER, he was able to recognize, diagnose, and treat cluster headaches as well. Dr. Grin always takes the time to listen and has been instrumental in helping me better manage my TMJ and pain levels. In addition, the office staff is always helpful is reaching out to insurance to confirm if a procedure is covered. While in some cases they are not, I appreciate the time they put into making sure I am not paying for something out of pocket. I highly recommend Dr. Grin. His expertise allowed me to understand the underlying issues and stop treating just symptoms.

Eternally grateful!!! I have nothing but wonders to speak of Dr. Grin and his staff. First off, they’re so polite and professional; it truly shows how much they care about patients. Secondly, I have no words to express the gratitude for taking care of my chronic TMJ. It had been months where I couldn’t even eat a hamburger and after being treated by Dr. Grin, it’s been a life changer. No more pain when I eat! I highly recommend Dr. Grin and his practice!!!

I had a pain in my jaw that was indescribable from a very young age. I never addressed it because it was not frequent enough to interfere with my life. It would only happen once every four months. However, in the past 3 years my headaches became 4-5x a week and this pain would come several times a week. I was so frustrated and was referred to Dr. Grin by the dentist that is part of the St Johns Cleft Clinic in Santa Monica. I had a cleft lip/palate and have had jaw surgery so I always assumed it was associated. Anyways, I was so impressed with Dr. Grins assessment and treatment plan. He took so much time to ask questions about my medical history and he really wanted this pain to improve. Sure enough, after 4-5 visits and different methods such as exercises, medicine, and appliances, I have not experienced the pain in 2 months. I am so relieved and so grateful. Dr. Grin is fantastic as well as his office staff. I couldn't recommend him and his team enough. I was seriously impressed with his entire approach. Thank you Dr. Grin and team!

Dr.Grin is super nice and gentle. He takes his time in explaining the procedures and I always felt heard. His team is always great and everyone is very friendly and patient. This office team and doctors are very professional and supportive.

Dr. Paul Grin was fantastic. He and his team take a no-nonsense approach to evaluating, diagnosing and executing on the issues at hand. I've suffered from terrible TMJ issues for years and, after just one night of wearing the dental/medical appliance Dr. Grin created for me, I can already tell I'm on the path to a reduction (if not elimination) of my chronic and nearly debilitating symptoms. Highly recommend!

I have had bruxism for most of my adult life and have always had some sort of jaw pain associated with grinding. I have seen several specialists regarding this pain, but Dr. Eric J. Grin is the first to do a complete head, neck, mouth and teeth assessment. He found muscles in my face that I did not realize were contributing to my jaw pain and tension. Dr. Eric J. Grin made recommendations for pain control that are very helpful and fit me for a night guard to help prevent the jaw pain I have been experiencing. I highly recommend this office and all staff members. Each and every staff member is kind, courteous and answers all of my questions. The patient experience is exceptional. I wish I had found this clinic sooner.

I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Paul Grin. I originally thought my bite was off, but my dentist said it was a jaw issue and suggested Dr. Grin. (He feels he's the only doctor to successfully treat TMJ. I was very impressed by Dr. Grin's thorough exam and so many questions. He has an amazing breadth of knowledge. I left my first appointment with lots of information, medication, exercises and a plan for the future. Within a few weeks my symptoms subsided. I had already suffered almost a month before seeing Dr. Grin. I unreservedly recommend Dr. Grin and his office. And, all the staff are very nice, and no waiting!

I have been seeing Dr. Paul Grin since the summer do to my jaw pain. The medication, therapy recommendations and the appliance that was made for me to wear in the day and night, have helped tremendously with the pain. I am able to sleep through the night without waking up every hour as I was before. The office staff is very welcoming and made be feel comfortable. They were also quick to respond to my questions, and I never had an issue scheduling an appointment that fit my busy schedule.

Dr. Grin is amazing. I was referred to him last year for intermittent "electrical shock" type pain. A thorough interview was done followed by CT scan and MRI. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. I was prescribed Carbamezaphine which has been effective in blocking the intense pain episodes. I was also diagnosed with arthritis in my jaw which can cause more of a dull pain. I have extreme confidence in Dr. Grin's abilities. After doing my own research I saw so much about how this is the "suicide" disease due to the intensity of pain. Dr. Grin is always available to discuss my concerns and has eased my fears about the progression of this disease. Although he stressed everyone is different and their are no guarantees about what the future might hold for me, I know I have a highly qualified and knowledgeable professional in this journey.

Dr Grin has been so instrumental in me getting my TN under control. I went to his office due to all the wonderful 5 star reviews and I see now how warranted they are. They also got me in to see him right away to get my pain under control. His office is very professional and well run and they are always on time. Dr Grin is very knowledgeable, has a kind demeanor and really listens to you and will give you the plan of care that works best for you. You won’t regret going here to see Dr. Grin and his team.

I have chronical TMJ issues, and constantly suffering from tight temporal muscle, stuffed ear, and facial discomfort. Dr Grin carefully checked my problem, made me a splitter to guard again grinding teeth at night, and guided my through some simple exercise and heat pad therapy. My situation is getter a lot better. Such a wonderful place as they work with you to help you heal rather than putting a band aid on the problem. It's been only a few short months and after seeing Dr G and his staff I am almost pain free. I always look forward to a visit to them and highly reccomend a visit if you're looking for help once and for all.

I came to Dr. Grin with terrible jaw, head and face pain. Before seeing him I had gone to see ENTs, my primary care doctor and my dentist. After lots of tests and medications that didn’t solve the problem I was referred to Dr Grin and am so happy I was! He quickly identified that I had TMJ and arthritis of both jaw joints and put me on a protocol that works. I am so grateful to Dr. Grin and his team. Dr. Grin is not only clinically very skilled but his bedside manner and gentle way is very comforting and I feel confident and at ease under his care. I was referred to Dr. Grin by my dentist after I began having worsening TMJ pain. The front staff and his assistant were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get a CT scan in the office and had impressions done to make an appliance for me to wear at night. While I was waiting for the appliance to be made Dr. Grin gave me suggestions on how to ease my pain and what foods to eat/avoid. Dr. Grin throughly explained each step and made sure all of my questions were answered, I never felt rushed. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Grin and his staff.

Dr. Paul Grin, Dr. Eric Grin and the office staff provided professional and caring service to me during my appointments. The attentiveness to my concerns about my health, and their responses have been top notch. All of my appointments have been 'on time' and without interruption. The support staff also submitted the professional service fees and appliance costs promptly to the insurance carrier. I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I was referred to Dr. Paul Grin from my dentist since I had jaw pain for a while & it was not getting any better. The staff is very friendly and on top of everything, and Dr Grin was always on time & never late. He was excellent in making sure I was ok every step. He would explain everything in detail and made sure I understood the process. He did not force me to do anything I was not comfortable with.
