I went to see Dr. Grin re a sleep apnea issue. He created and appliance for me, which fit perfectly. This led to a great improvement in my sleep quality. He was polite and professional. I found him kind and willing to answer all my questions. The office staff was welcoming and accommodating. It was an overall great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Grin.

I’ve been suffering from TMJ for years & finally reached a point where it was interfering with my quality of life. I would get frequent jaw pain which would lead to severe headaches as well other TMJ related issues. A friend referred me to Dr. Grin. I’ve been treating with Dr. Grin for a few months now & always enjoy visiting his office. His staff is very pleasant & so is Dr. Grin. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. He has great bedside manners & always takes time to talk to you & answer any questions you may have. I’ve seen significant improvement in my headaches. I highly recommend Dr. Grin to anyone looking for relief from TMJ related issues.

I want to thank Dr. Grin and the staff of South Bay TMJ for all the help and care that I received. I have been living with pain on daily basis for over 50 years, moreover, after the first night of wearing my new night guard I woke up without pain! Now I have hope for a better life with less pain. Dr. Grin and his staff are amazing. His clinic is also a one stop shop that takes care of everything for you including imaging. As someone who had suffered from TMJ for several years where it was affecting my eating and sleeping. I'm thankful to be able to finally have the pain decrease. You won't regret going.

My Fiancé had issues with staying awake while driving. We tried googling solutions but nothing worked. Told him to try going to a specialist but he said sleep specialist do not exist! Load and be hold after looking on Yelp we found South Bay TMJ who specializes in sleep, headaches, and orofacial pain! My fiancé took a chance and called to make an appointment. Very easy and was able to schedule him within a week and sent new patient forms online to fill out and return. Came to the office with my fiancé. Parking was easy and the office was very clean and welcoming. The front ladies greeted us, all with smiles. We were able to meet with both Drs. Grin. A father and son! Both VERY knowledgeable and answered every question we had. The front ladies were so accommodating! My fiancé was wondering where he can pick up his medication and they suggested locations near by and even called a pharmacy to see if they took his insurance! Definitely went above and beyond. After leaving the office, my fiancé said he felt everyone he encountered, the doctors, assistants, and the front staff actually cared about his well-being and he never felt that way before leaving a medical place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND in coming here. You can feel the family atmosphere and come out feeling great.

I have been with Dr. Grin for eight years . He has treated me for nerve damage and TMJ. He is very knowledgeable in both these fields. I have complete trust in his ability as a specialist. This is one Doctor who does not rush you through an appointment. His staff is professional and courteous with his clientele.

I have had problems with clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth since my 20's. In the past few years it had gotten so bad that my jaw just hurt all of the time. Dr. Grin fixed it! He replaced the night appliance from my dentist (designed only to protect the teeth) with one that would also protect my jaw. It has worked amazingly and I am now pain-free! He and his office staff are the best!

Dr. Grin has been incredibly helpful for me! I came into his office with a previous diagnosis that I'm not a candidate for surgery. Discouraged and in pain, he spent time figuring out exactly what was going on with the source of pain and what to do about it. I am thrilled to say that 4 months after getting fit for appliances and doing the recommended exercises, I am virtually pain free and can now eat things that were causing me pain before. I'm thankful! And - the office staff has always been kind and helpful!

I have been working with Dr. Grin for over 3 years based on a recommendation from my then dentist--he is well known by many neurologists and dentists in the South Bay. He was able to properly diagnose my TMJ and put me on a plan to help alleviate my pain after many conversations with dentists and doctors. Recently, after a few visits to the ER, he was able to recognize, diagnose, and treat cluster headaches as well. Dr. Grin always takes the time to listen and has been instrumental in helping me better manage my TMJ and pain levels. In addition, the office staff is always helpful is reaching out to insurance to confirm if a procedure is covered. While in some cases they are not, I appreciate the time they put into making sure I am not paying for something out of pocket. I highly recommend Dr. Grin. His expertise allowed me to understand the underlying issues and stop treating just symptoms.

I had a pain in my jaw that was indescribable from a very young age. I never addressed it because it was not frequent enough to interfere with my life. It would only happen once every four months. However, in the past 3 years my headaches became 4-5x a week and this pain would come several times a week. I was so frustrated and was referred to Dr. Grin by the dentist that is part of the St Johns Cleft Clinic in Santa Monica. I had a cleft lip/palate and have had jaw surgery so I always assumed it was associated. Anyways, I was so impressed with Dr. Grins assessment and treatment plan. He took so much time to ask questions about my medical history and he really wanted this pain to improve. Sure enough, after 4-5 visits and different methods such as exercises, medicine, and appliances, I have not experienced the pain in 2 months. I am so relieved and so grateful. Dr. Grin is fantastic as well as his office staff. I couldn't recommend him and his team enough. I was seriously impressed with his entire approach. Thank you Dr. Grin and team!

Dr.Grin is super nice and gentle. He takes his time in explaining the procedures and I always felt heard. His team is always great and everyone is very friendly and patient. This office team and doctors are very professional and supportive.

Dr. Paul Grin was fantastic. He and his team take a no-nonsense approach to evaluating, diagnosing and executing on the issues at hand. I've suffered from terrible TMJ issues for years and, after just one night of wearing the dental/medical appliance Dr. Grin created for me, I can already tell I'm on the path to a reduction (if not elimination) of my chronic and nearly debilitating symptoms. Highly recommend!

I have had bruxism for most of my adult life and have always had some sort of jaw pain associated with grinding. I have seen several specialists regarding this pain, but Dr. Eric J. Grin is the first to do a complete head, neck, mouth and teeth assessment. He found muscles in my face that I did not realize were contributing to my jaw pain and tension. Dr. Eric J. Grin made recommendations for pain control that are very helpful and fit me for a night guard to help prevent the jaw pain I have been experiencing. I highly recommend this office and all staff members. Each and every staff member is kind, courteous and answers all of my questions. The patient experience is exceptional. I wish I had found this clinic sooner.

I feel so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Paul Grin. I originally thought my bite was off, but my dentist said it was a jaw issue and suggested Dr. Grin. (He feels he's the only doctor to successfully treat TMJ. I was very impressed by Dr. Grin's thorough exam and so many questions. He has an amazing breadth of knowledge. I left my first appointment with lots of information, medication, exercises and a plan for the future. Within a few weeks my symptoms subsided. I had already suffered almost a month before seeing Dr. Grin. I unreservedly recommend Dr. Grin and his office. And, all the staff are very nice, and no waiting!
