For anyone who has gotten a bite guard/night guard for clenching or grinding their teeth from their dentist please consider an appointment with Dr. Grin, he made a device for my lower jaw, that is like a bit guard. It has reduced my neck and shoulder pain by half. His staff is very helpful also.

I initially went to Dr. Grin because the orofacial dentist I had seen for years retired and recommended Dr. Grin to his patients. I found Dr. Grin very knowledgeable and extremely competent. He listened to my concerns and offered effective solutions, including a new “snore guard” which he designed to inhibit my snoring and mild sleep apnea without exacerbating my TMJ problems. His nurses and office staff are kind, efficient, and professional. Over the course of a year, I was in the office six times, and every time I was the only patient in the office. I realized that Dr. Grin and his staff really do devote their full attention to each patient at his/her appointed time. I have had occasion to mention to my regular dentist and my family doctor that I see Dr. Grin for orofacial and snoring problems; both of those medical professionals commented on how fortunate I am to have found Dr. Grin.

Dr. Grin is beyond amazing, and did what no other doctor could. I have an extremely rare headache disorder, and the medication usually used to treat it was giving me adverse side effects. There are no known guaranteed alternatives to this medication, yet Dr. Grin spent a tremendous amount of time, effort and expertise until he miraculously found something else that works for me. He absolutely changed my health and my life. I will forever be grateful to him, and will be his patient as long as he practices!

I was diagnosed at the dentist that my teeth were infected, needed root canal treatment. The wait for surgery was 2 months, so I went to root canal specialist Dr. Keith Komatsu who diagnosed that it’s not a root canal, it’s a TMJ issue & referred me to Dr. Grin who saved my teeth & took care of my horrible jaw & teeth pain. Dr. Grin is not only excellent with his specialty but also very thorough & caring. I highly recommend Dr. Grin. Thank you Dr. Grin!

I have been suffering with tinnitus for the past 6 years. I wear a special hearing aide that has helped but the ringing in my ears is constant. In the last six years I have tried everything, acupuncture, hypnosis, cognitive behavior therapy, ENT, psychiatrist, CBD, and other meds. Until now the only thing that was given me any relief has been my widex hearing aid that generates sounds that mimic my tinnitus. Recently I heard about Dr Paul Grin, a dentist with special training that works on people with tinnitus. Dr Grin did a c scan and found arthritis in my jaw. The treatment was a muscle relaxant medication and a specially fitted mouth piece that I wear at night. In the last two months the intensity of the ringing has decreased significantly. I am so glad I found Dr. Grin and his treatment.

My E.N.T doctor referred me to the T.M.J doctor Grin around October 2020, my first impression is very clean and professional office. Dr. Grin is very good of his profession, he always takes his time to listen to his patients and provide great information & service. All of his staffs are very friendly yet very professional, i felt very relaxing and calm in his office, so far he has helped me my T.M.J issues that caused my headaches, and now, i'm under sleep apnea treatment which was cause my sleep quality, i have all the confidents in him to help me with my sleep issues that caused by many other reasons, I would definitely recommend his professional service to everyone who has some problems that i had.

My experience with Dr. Grin and his staff were extremely positive. I was quite impressed with Dr. Grin’s knowledge, experience and bedside manner. At this juncture, I am hoping that my new mouth appliances and exercises help ease the pain I have been experiencing for quite sometime due to TMJ issues. Although the appliances are quite costly, if it proves to lessen my headaches and jaw pain, it will be worth it.

I've had TMJ for over 10 years now and searching for a TMJ provider has been difficult. I've been seeing Dr.Grin for my TMJ for the last 5 months and I've experienced less pain when eating and, stiffness, and clicking. I've been seeing Dr. Grin for my TMJ issues for the last few months. Dr. Grin is very attentive and very thorough. Through his guidance and treatment my TMJ symptoms have diminished significantly. My Mom was diagnosed in 2014 with trigeminal Neuralgia which returned in late 2020,early 2021 with a vengeance, her facial pain Doctor had retired in 2019 and left a recommendation for Dr. Grin. Her symptom is excruciating nerve pain in her cheek. There are 4 reasons I highly recommend Dr. Grin and his entire team: 1)We had upped Mom's previously prescribed drug dose to the max and she was suffering greatly, I called Dr. Grin and earliest appointment was a week away. I told Blanca please get us in earlier, she is suffering greatly. Blanca called with a cancellation and we got Mom in saving her a week of pain.Thank you Blanca. 2)Dr. Grin and his assistant Ruth have good bedside manner, they always told Mom everything they were going to do, reassuring for an elderly (94 year old) patient. Dr. Grin's questions and testing was quick and efficient, he quickly verified trigeminal Neuralgia. 3)He prescribed a new drug, and literally the day after she started taking it, the day after she saw him, the excruciating pain, even the minor twitching in her cheek preceding pain, was gone. Dr. Grin is extremely expert with these problems, and with all treatment options. Main problem solved.Thank you Ruth and Dr. Grin. 4)Mom still on both old and new drug, she had muscle weakness, falling issues several days later, specifically Friday through Sunday. I called office Monday and response from Carmen, Blanca, Dr. Grin was immediate with recommendations to change dosage of old med. This went on for several days,I'd update conditions and even if Dr. Grin was not in office I got a response from him via his office on recommended action. Thank you Carmen and Blanca. So...Great team, in summary: 1-Got her in 1 week early, 2- Good bedside manner, questions and testing quickly and accurately determined condition causing pain 3-Mom's pain gone literally the next day with new drug prescription 4-Complications from side effects addressed immediately via phone and actions recommended to correct undesirable side effects. Seldom deal with such a top notch team, from first phone call and on Blanca, Ruth, Carmen, Dr. Grin are top notch, Excellent team. Excellent response. Excellent results. From my first visit, I noticed that Dr Grin was very thorough and detailed in his assessment of my TMJ case. He listened patiently to my concerns and thoughtfully asked his questions. The appointments never felt rushed. The nurse and office staff were very kind, gentle, and took care of me while I was there. I highly recommend Dr Grin's and his office for his work.

Dr. Grin and his team run a first class business. They are always on time and appointments are very efficient. Most importantly, Dr. Grin knows how to fix your problem. I have always had TMJ. However, last summer I had a river rafting accident that caused my jaw to get dislocated. Although my chiropractor was able to help me realign the jaw, I lost range of motion in my haw and the pain and sensitivity in my join continued without any improvement for over three months until I found Dr. Grin. Within a couple of visits, DR. Grin had given me the tools to start my road to recovery. His methods were very easy to follow and incorporate into my daily activities. I highly recommend checking him out if you are experiencing TMJ issues or sleep apnea.

I would like to tell you how wonderful our experience has been with Dr. Paul Grin, with regards to our daughters intense TMJ pain. Dr. Grin has completely cured our daughter of her jaw "locking" and has been able to decrease the amount of pain she suffers after eating certain things. Her jaw was in very bad shape and Dr. Grin has been incredible with rectifying the situation. His assistant Ruth is wonderful, as is his office staff.
