Shelley Martin helped make our first home buying experience a pleasurable one. She responded almost immediately whenever we contacted her with questions or the possibility of going to look at a house. Shelley has been doing this for a long time in the Rockford area, and her knowledge of the market was on display from the first time we met her. She knew the housing trends and pointed out certain things to look for that first-time home buyers might not know to check. She came to every home viewing with us, made sure we knew exactly what to look for and made sure it matched up with our desires and needs in a home. When we found the house we wanted, Shelley worked quickly to make sure we got it. With the low number of quality houses on the market at the time, she knew the house would sell fast and made sure we made a competitive offer to get into the house as soon as possible. When looking for an agent, Shelley is the total package, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a home in Rockford.

Shelley Martin helped us with realistic pricing, noting the several important items to correct. She presented the house and neighborhood together, identifying strengths to possible buyers while honestly showing the challenges. She spent time with us after showings. Her notes and e-mails kept us very informed on the status of possible buyers. Once we had an offer she helped with all the necessary preparation for a VERY successful closing. I would only use Shelley Martin to represent me buying or selling a house in the Rockford area.

We meet Steve going through an open house on a Sunday afternoon. Steve instantly is a likable guy. He was so easy to talk to and willing to help us when we were ready. A month or so after meeting Steve, we called him and asked for his help in buying a new home. He scheduled a tour to fit our schedule and drove us to each home that we had interest in, he is so accommodating! We found a home that we loved. Steve helped us fill out the paperwork and the rest is history! I feel very fortunate that we found Steve and that he is such an amazing Realtor!!

She patietly and thouroughly walked us through each step of the process making sure we fully understood everything. We ran into several unusal circumstances that would test any agent's honestly and integrity and Jayne never waivered. She is a class act and always professional.
