Very friendly service. Several family members referred me to Pleasant Plains. Their front staff immediately scheduled me the same day I called given my situation was somewhat urgent. Dr. G diagnosed the root cause of my condition and clearly communicated the corrective actions planned and timeline. The check-in and check-out staff were friendly and efficient as well. All in all, I recommend Pleasant Plains and appreciate the service. I also value the flexible hours and days open.

I started at Pleasant Plains because I had not been to a dentist in many years and was very nervous about what they might find and how much they would cost. Pleasant Plains offered a first time patient special that made it extremely affordable for me and two of my daughters. Once I got there, they were so kind and encouraging about the condition of my teeth and gave me no pressure about the things that needed to be done. They continue to be affordable with our biannual checkups and cleanings and have offered me multiple options for paying for special services. The office staff is always friendly, the dentists are patient and informative, and the work I’ve had is done with care, consideration and quality.

I have crippling anxiety but everyone at Pleasant Plains does everything they can to put me at ease. I had issues with a crown from a prior dentist who installed it improperly and the wonderful dentist at Pleasant Plains was able to reinstall it and now I no longer have any pain in my mouth. Kayla was my hygienist and she did an amazing job keeping me calm, which is no small feat .

I have been going to Pleasant Plains Dental for years and I have had Kayla as my dental hygienist since I’ve been there and she is amazing. The overall office and office staff are wonderful as well but you see your dental hygienist the most and Kayla is great at what she does, she’s professional, friendly, and she educates.

From my initial panicked phone call about a broken front tooth, until my final appointment, I was treated with the utmost care. They were able to see me on a Saturday which saved me from having to cancel my weekend plans. All aspects of the process have been great and I am so pleased with new smile!

I was a new pt at Pleasant Plains Dental and I had a great experience with all the staff! The facility is clean and supplies are up to date. My dental hygienist Kayla gets a special shoutout for being so knowledgeable and you can tell she really enjoys her job! I felt no anxiety at my appointment that I normally feel at other facilities.

Well, I had a good report about my teeth, so that was the best part. I was seen quickly and Tatiana explained everything as it happened. No surprises, no pain. Dr. G was friendly as always. The HGTV on TV was not my cup of tea. I like animal stuff, wild or pets. All in all, I had a very pleasant experience. Thanks

Kayla is an amazing hygienist. I would highly recommend this office solely because of her. Dr Grobbelaar is a great dentist. He and Kayla take care of my entire family.

I am absolutely terrified of dentists and have been for all of my life. Every appointment was met with a great deal of shame, pain, and a hefty fee. When I first came to this office, I had not been to a dentist in many years, and knew that I would have to have a significant amount of work done, but the shame and embarrassment and humiliation I felt had caused me to put off any dental care for many years. I met with Dr. Ken first, and he has taken care of me for the past year with the utmost respect, kindness, and gentleness. Other than the UNC Dental School in Chapel Hill, I have never experienced such a caring and compassionate office, from the technicians who check you in, to the assistants, as well as the dentists themselves. Recently, I had to have emergency dental care and met Dr. Ernst, and once again, my trepidation was on high alert. However, within the first five minutes of meeting him, all of my fears were assuaged. Not only did he treat me with the utmost respect and compassion, but he also offered me several options and sat with me to weigh the benefits of each option. This office is an absolute gem, and it is clear that they care deeply for all of their patients, specifically those of us who must work – they have extended nightly hours, as well as weekend appointments. I cannot say enough good things about all of the people who work here, but I can express my most sincere gratitude for them. Thank you for your care team and for letting me be one of your patients.
