I have had excellent service at Ackerman. I live in an area inhabited with lots of squirrels and have asked the service people to be sure and check for signs of destruction under the hood, which they did find the beginnings of this last time my car was in. I appreciate the honest and detailed review and summary provided after each check up.

Several times in the last two months I have needed service and turned up without an appointment. In one case, it was less than hour before closing time. In all three cases, I was given excellent service and treated with courtesy. I use to use Firestone for my auto maintenance but Ackerman has exceeded my expectations in customer service. Although I can't judge the quality of the repair at this point, I do know that the sped of the repair was really good, especially since I came in on a Saturday-and with no appointment!
Needs were clearly explained to me and I was even reminded that I didn't have to have an oil change at this point in my service.

Bob went out of his way to help me with my tires for my Tacoma. They look really good. I appreciated him going that extra mile for me and fitting my truck in on the buy 3 get on free deal. Give that guy a raise cause people like that are hard to find in any line of work.

AT has provided excellant service to me since 2002. The technician always explains to me the services my car needs without being condescending. Wait time is appropriate. Work guaranteed. I brought my old car and now my new car from AT. In that time frame I've had 2 complaints which were resolved immediately without any hassle. New location is a few miles further but still convenient, clean and spacious. I do wish Toyota gave their regular customers a discount on tires!!!!!!!!!!!

Robert (aka "Bob") absolutely went above and beyond for me last week. His customer service attributes and knowledge exceeded all previous interactions I have had at Ackerman. He "made it right." They don't make them like Bob anymore.
Long story: I found myself frustrated with Ackerman when I needed an oil change while traveling outside the city. The mechanic came out from underneath my car and asked if I knew my threads were stripped on my oil pan ... apparently, there was writing on the oil pan explaining the issue. Unfortunately, I was never made aware of this or the need for repair during my last oil change at Ackerman (3K miles earlier.) No one told me about this at check out? And no other shop was willing to take it off for fear they would not get it back on.
I am then forced to take my vehicle into Ackerman in order to get an idea of what is going on. No one could answer why this was not communicated. They order the part from KC, which was supposed to be in the following Thursday. I was told I would receive a call, which I did not. I had to call the shop on Thursday afternoon and ask about the status of my repair, as my maintenance light remained on. I was told the part had not arrived, but I would be contacted when it did.
So, I wait another until the next week (Tuesday,) still nothing. I am frustrated now and not sure I will be returning to this dealership for repairs, maintenance, and/or future care purchases. I call my repair associate, but she is not in. Thus Bob fields my call. He does not see any notes about my situation, so he asks for some time to "do some digging." He offered to go downstairs to make sure my part is there and promised to call by the end of the day, which he did. I could not answer due to obligation as work, so I return Bob's call and Steve's answers since he already left for the day. Steve tells me Bob made a note the part was there, I can drop my car off overnight (Wed) for a 3 hour repair that would be "first thing at 7:30a" on Thursday. This is important due to a 12:30p meeting/obligation.
I drop my car off Wed night for the necessary repair but get a call from Bob the next morning reporting my car was not "first in," as promised. He apologized for the information I had received up to this point and walked me through what to expect. That is all I was asking/expected as a customer. Just communicate with me. He said the car just went in at 9:30a and it would likely be a 6 hour repair (remember, I was told 3.) So, now I don't have a car, and I will have to figure out a way to the meeting I was required to attend.
But! Bob SAVED me, and my job. He put me in a loaner, allowed me to come get it any time I can, and return it when I am able. When I arrive to the shop, Bob comes out and personally introduces himself, reviews everything he previously reported, and put my mind at ease. I felt taken care of. I felt respected and heard. I felt like a customer, not an inconvenience.
I absolutely love the new store, with seating to work while you wait, watch TV, free Wifi. However, the miscommunication/lack thereof and inconvenient service times (no appt for oil changes, only certain repairs on certain days) has me second guessing the dealership as my one stop shop.

I brought my 2017 Corolla to Ackerman Toyota for a free six-month oil change and overall checkup. My wait was less than an hour and I was comfortable during that time as I watched television from a cozy chair.
The dealership is immaculate, modern and impressive. The service provided by the mechanics and the service desk was professional, polite, thoughtful and complete.
I am extremely pleased with the personnel and competency I witnessed at Ackerman Toyota. I'm glad I purchased my car from that dealership.

I feel that for the repair my vehicle had to have, that the dealer was put in an unusual situation and handled it in the best way possible.
Their repair was completed and the technician not only corrected the initial complaint but further investigated to find out why the problem occurred.
Clean up of the faulty part was great
All in all the dealer handled it as anyone would hope their vehicle would be taken care of.
